    Walt Disney Legacy Collection True Life AdventuresNot only are these dvds entertaining...they are calming and nostalgic (1950s)!These may not be what you would call a scientific documentary.They are narrated in a story-telling fashion.Walt Disney wanted to entertain foremost.There are many animal documentaries today, but in my opinion...none so delightful for children (and adults), as these!Check your library!

 We watched one episode: Journey of Radiance.This episode takes you on Young Indy's adventure into the Far East. This went right along with our ancient history lessons. bella Rated PG-13.You'll have to judge for yourselves on whether you would let your young children watch it.(The woman is unmarried and unhappily pregnant.)It's Pro-life. My children thought it was "alright" "pretty good" and "confusing at the end."(The ending IS a bit vague.)No matter...I loved it! |
