Cold day & Trivium

Posted in Just Thoughts

Well it’s another cold morning here.  We woke up to a pretty dusting of snow covering the ground.  It’s all melted now and raining on and off.

I’ve been reading Teaching the Trivium and although I’m only in chapter 4 I love the book!  A big thank you to my friend Theresa for telling me about it!  I’m really leaning towards the classical style of homeschooling and note/lap booking also.  My girls although very young seem to LOVE reading and hands on learning.  So I think this will work very well with them.

Do you have the jazillions of paper clips in your book? LOL! I do! There are so many good things in there I mark as I find...:) I put two more sites on my blog...I'll just tell ya.. www.animatedatlas.com and www.history.org/history The first one has some nice primary sources and little videos to watch.. and the other is Colonial Williamsburg...(we lived there 6 years) There is great stuff on the Williamsburg site!
Hugs, Theresa
