OK so today isn't our first day we started on the 4th.  But my keyboard has been on the fritz and I finally got a new one.  No more sticky keys!!  So now it's time to get caught up on all the posts I've wanted to do. 

Despite being up late the night before (a big no, no) and a little unorganized we had a great first day of school.  We eased in slowly starting with just spelling/grammar and math.  I plan to school year round and just take short breaks as we need them.  However we took about 6 weeks off this summer after our new baby was born.  I really noticed how the littles forget things so quickly and it's harder getting back into the schedule.

DD1 (5 years old) all excited to get started.  She just loves learning.

Reading is always more fun with a little buddy to keep you company.

Not to be left out dd2 (3 years old) had fun to!  Mostly coloring and following a long were she wanted.
