Edison Club, Glass Blowing

We are in a homeschool club called Edison Club where we do a bunch of Science stuff once we went to Culinary project and all sorts of stuff. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we are going to a glass blowing place to see how they, blow glass. I think it will be really cool but I hope Mom doesnt bring my brother he always has a habit of touching things, and at a glass place I cant take that risk.

Texas

For New Years we went to Texas to see our Granny & Papaw we shot off fireworks and I got to see my cousins, that I hadn't seen in a while. My cousin, Dylan got a dirt bike for his birthday and he crashed it two week after he got it, it wasn't too scrached up though. Every time Dylan wasn't looking my Dad jumped on Dylan's dirt bike and rode off and he would run after him.

Flat Stanley and Flat Stanella

We are doing this thing where we make a paper person named Stanley and he goes to all different places. I think the farthest Stanley has ever been isto Australia. Last week another homeschool family that had a Stanley went to Nashville but our Stanley was in Vegas, so Stanley asked his cousin Stanella to go with them. When they left a day later we got a letter frome Stanley and Stanella saying Stanley had a crush on Stanella. A couple days later we got another letter from them that said Stanley and Stanella went on a date to Joe's Crab Shack and the Hard Rock Cafe. We they got back we had tons of pictures of Stanley and Stanella.

Baptist Hill Girls Camp

Baptist Hill, Mount Vernon. A girls camp that teaches girls about Jesus, but its tons of fun too!!! We went canoeing, (which was AWESOME) swiming, and we got our own dorm room. They had so many girl they had to cram eleven girls in our tiny dorm room. I wasnt too happy about some of the girls I was bunking with, but in the end we got along pretty well. There is this place in the middle of Baptist Hill called the canten where between 2:00 and 4:00 girls can go get soda, chips, ice cream, ect. They also have a spring down the hill and its really steep its like walking down a moutain. They said that the water from the spring is really cold, it gets to about 58 degrees. Actually that is about as cold as the water I was baptized in.

Pen Pal

In December we did this church program where you box up toys and stuff in shoe boxes and send them to different countries. About a week ago I recived a letter from Albania from a 10 year old girl saying that she was glad to get my box, and that we can keep in touch with letters in the mail. Yesterday I sent a letter back to her telling her about myself. I'm very excited to get her letter back.

Baby Birds

Just the other day my grandpa and dad were working on the house and we heard chirping from the tractor. That night my mom went to check it out. She found six baby birds alone in a nest. She brought them on the porch and put them in a bucket of hay. We didn't know what to feed them and it was night so we couldn't look for worms. We read online that they like moist cat food, but all we had was dog food. They seemed to like it. After four days we started losing them one by one. Without their mom they got too cold even though we tried to keep them warm.

Bible Drill !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday was State Bible Drill, I can't tell you how freaked out I was, I was waaaaaaaaaay past butterflies. The drill was at South Gates close to Nixa. There were five kids from our church who were competing in State, Austin, Hunter, Tristen, Ally and Myself. We only got about fifteen minutes to practice, and believe me I wasn't the only one that was nevous. I was thinking that we would get up on stage, but got inside a small room, which made me feel a little better. We could only miss four out of twenty-four questions, if you didn't miss any you were a state superior, if you missed from one to three you were a state winner, if you missed more than four you were a state participant which is what I was. Hunter was a superior an Ally, Austin and Tristen were Winners. I wasn't too disapointed cause we got to have pizza afterwards.
