Sep. 25, 2009 - October can have days that seem like winter . . . this is my home
OCTOBER
O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!
For the grapes' sake, if they were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost -
For the grapes' sake along the wall.
Robert Frost
Was written about a New England October but reminded me of Octobers here in Alberta.

This is a great qoute I read today. So true.
"No man verily can read it too oft or study it too well: for the more it is studied the easier it is, the more it is chewed the pleasanter it is, and the more groundly it is searched the preciouser things are found in it, so great treasure of spiritual things lieth hid therein."
-Willian Tydale wrote about the book of Romans
These are the books I am reading:
War and Peace
God Smuggler with Ocean
The Mortification of Sin
Just a little peek into my home.
