Well lots has happend since my last update. But at the same time not much either. We are still job searching. We would love to move to Wy but it just is not working out. The job for the railroad is open again that Super Man got it last interview with here in the same state that we are living. So we will be applying for that next month (when his 6 months is up). But the great news is that we are PREGNATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Due in January!!!!! This came as a shock and are going with a wonderful midwife. Thank God for her since we have no insurance and she is willing to take monthly payements and is VERY knowlegdeable!!!!!!!!! So far things are going great!! I am mearsureing a little big and with twins on both sides of the family she is asking us to get an ultra sound. but she knows of a place thats kind of close that will do it for $180.00 witch is so much lower than our local hospital!!!! Precious is so excited!!!! From the start she told us that she thinks mommy has a sister and a brother in there. She loves to pick out things for the baby and is so thoughtful I hope this behavior continues once the baby is born. Precious is GREAT growing fast and learning a mile a minute. She is counting by 10's now and can almost make it to 100 without help. She really can read but doubts herself. And when I point out to her that she is reading she just looks at me blankly and says "no I am not!" I need to find a better way to build her confidence. She tried dance class this summer and loved it until her father told her he didn't want to take her on HIS time. So she thought he didn't want her to go and I have not been able to get her to go since. I hope next year it will work out better. I tried to get him to tell her that is was he didn't want to spend 45 min of his time with her at dance class. And that he likes that she dances but he wouln't. Life is GREAT, Super Man and my marriage is wonderful I didn't know how great marriage could be. Its truely amazing at the difference!!!! Precious has figured out that her father and I use to be married and asks questions and we as a family talk about it. And try to be as open as possible but I refuse to tell her that her father was very mean. She doesn't remember and I think that is the best. All she knows is that she is lucky to have two daddies that love her very much!

Well we talked about the BNSF job. And while I was trying to find info. about the area. I came across a better one. So now we are still looking at wyoming. And all we have found out about it is wonderful. They are good with homeschooling (no big rules, or regulations.) They are mainly a Christian homeschooling group. The town we are looking into has a wonderful group there. I mean anything Super Man and I have been looking for is there. We sent his resume in today. Please pray that we get this job, and that the Heavenly Father opens doors for us. The move is going to be around 1000 miles! So its going to be tough. And it looks like we are going to have to buy property and then either build a house or put a manufactured on it. Everyone around agrees that it seems the best move for us as a family. Precious will not go to her fathers except every other month for a week. Then in September we will have to come up with something different. But she was very excited to learn about the homeschooling group there. Actually she then started stratigizing "Well we could take the Ford and hook our car to it with the hookie (wench) and then we could have both cars there. One to get fired wood and one to drive around with." Thanks everyone for the prayers! |

Well just a few days after the last post, we finally got the answer. And nope Super Man didn't the job. I think I took it worse than he did. But I just kept asking the Heavenly Father to forgive me and help me move on. So yesturday (about a week after) I got on the net and found a job in WY with BNSF railroad. Mentioned it to Super Man, and he was intrested! Wow that shocked me. His father is getting close to retireing and Super Man just wants to be close to continue to help here on the farm. So today I was researching more about the job and the area. When I came across on Aviation Techincan job (what he did in the Navy) called him and he seemed pretty excited. I have researched the company all day. They seem like a good company. So here again I am asking for prayers. Super Man and I will be talking tonight and deciding if he is going to apply. Maybe just maybe this is why Super Man didn't get the job at the railroad. Please just pray for our family as we find a job to better our lives. |

Things are going GREAT here. Precious and I have just been slowly but surely get more knowledge in her beautiful mind! Her reading is going great, she loves to waterpaint. And her imagination is running top-notch!! We are settling in at the house. Precious and I have been sleeping together for almost 2 years now so we are having a HARD time breaking that!!!!!!!!! I knew it was not the best thing for us to do, but you have to do what you have to do. One thing I am trying out is. She has to make her bed, so when she comes to crawl into bed with us I remind her to make her bed. Sometimes she falls back to sleep in her bed and sometimes not. She is still very much a morning person. And days to start early around her, but not THAT early (2am-5am). Jake and her relationship is blooming even more so now!!!!! She loves to "family" hug. And when he prays at dinner time so copies what he says. Then before bed we read out of a "family" Bible. In my mind slightly water down kid version. And if he is busy feeding the animals or what ever we have to wait for Daddy Jake. I makes my heart and soul so happy to see her have a wonderful, positive relationship with a Daddy figure. Not one that makes men, in her mind MEAN and SCARY!!!!! Jake is a wonderful blessing to our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now in our relationship we are trying to make GOOD habits so when times are harder we won't start creating bad habits. He is so soft spoken, loving, caring man. Precious and I call him Super Man. Because that it just who he has been for me my whole life. Its just a dream come true, I really thought he would never look my way, in that way. He prays with us as a family, he encourages, and helps me to teach Precious. He listens. Anyways I could go on and on about what a blessing he is. And he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are thinking about the future. Super Man has applied and got an interview with the railroad here. We are waiting to hear back now. Please pray that the Heavenly Father's will, will be done. The positives is that we would have wonderful bennie (insurance, retirment) and we see lots of wonderful things about it, but we would have to move around a 100 miles from his parents. Which would be good for awhile (don't get me wrong I LOVE his parents) but to be just our family for a little bit. But his father really needs help here on the farm. And during the interview one thing they said is that anyone looking to get in the railroad and just transfore FORGET!!! He stayed anyways and finished the interview. But once they train you at one depot they want to keep you there. Oh the job would be either a; desiel electrican or a desiel electrican apperance. Super Man was a aviation electronic enginer (sp on all that) in the Navy for 5 years. But we know with the job he has right now, there will be no babies(no insurance) :( We are also trying to become more self-suffecent(SP). We would like to have some dairy goats, we have our own chickens, plant a garden (something he usually does anyways) learn how to freeze and can food. Something his grandma is wonderful at!! And just be prepaired for the recetion (sp). Well will take long enough to read. More next time. |

Precious has been really pick up on words and reading them. So yesturday I decided that maybe we should keep track. So now I write down the words that she reads in the new flash cards wonderful Aunt N. got her. Yesturday we did a whole new set and she got 11 of the words right!! I was so excited I was shocked at some of them, like...parrot, voilin, monkey, ect. I know I have spelled these words for her a few times but she knew them instantly! Wow she is a smart one! The Heavenly Father has truely blessed us greatly! Has anyone here dealt with enchantedlearning.com ? When I got online to look for some President Day ideas I came across them. It seemed they had some wonderful little books for children to color, that also had some facts about the president but they want you to pay. So I was wanting all the input before I decide. I did come a cross another website that was free...apples4theteacher.com . They are free I was able to find a few facts on there and some free coloring sheets of president's so that is the way I went this year. What kind of things are you doing for President's Day? |

Well we have had a good year for snow. Our drive has had up to 4 feet of snow this year. I have managed not to get stuck until the other day. While Precious and I were on our way up I had noticed that there was some horrible deep tracks in the drive way. Then I recalled the meter read coming up to my MIL's that day. He did try getting up our drive in 2 wheel drive!! Thats a laugh, but appernetly someone pulled him out. So I mentioned to Precious that this might get really bumpy. Sure enough it got VERY bumpy and then crunch. My car feel through the thin layer of ice and into the deep tracks. I tried everything ( I have bad tires and no tracktion) I even but it into 4 low trying to just creep out, nothing worked. But the cutiest thing was as soon as I told Precious that we were stuck she said in the most adult voice every "You need to call someone call Daddy Jake, call Grandpa Mommy call someone" "no I can get out" "no you can't mom call someone , call Daddy Jake." So I did I knew at that point I was not getting out on my own. I call Jake and told him that my car was stuck and that Precious and I was just going to walk the rest of the way up to the house.v And then while I was getting Precious out of the car she looked at me and said again in and adult voice " Mom you should have chains on your tires!" LOL I guess me talking to her all winter long on how slick the roads are, and not going to fast and all the other talks we have had been hitting home!!!!!!!!!! |

Well again its taken me to long to write!! Precious is doing wonderful!! She is so bright!!! She had her third birthday the other day and then we all (Jake's parents, our friends) went bowling and she loved it! Grandpa was able to get some wonderful pictures! Precious has got into trying to figure out how everything is linked together. She will have these very long thoughts prosses (thank the LORD its out loud)!!! Like the other day it was "snow was on the ground, then it got warm and turned to water, then it got cold and the water froze, and the water froze it what makes the roads slick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that came out of a three year old?????? I have a hard time believing it! But one day she was trying to figure out how the air and the hawks are linked and she did she worked it all out in her beautiful little head!!! She is an amazing child!! Jake and I our now married!!! Precious was very excited for that and actually it took us 2 days to get her out of her flower girl dress!!!! LOL But right after the wedding she was doing one of her thinking process and said something like "Daddy Jake and Mommy both have wedding rings, so they are married, now that they are married we can have a baby! Ok Mommy and Daddy Jake I want a baby brother!!!" LOL So AGAIN we had to explain to her that it would be awhile because we needed to wait tell insurance. She didn't like that answer! LOL She is going to be a wonderful big sister, its something that we have talked about alot and how she will help us. And when we are spending family time together we always ask her, so where would the baby be if we had one right now? And she always makes room the baby!! Jake has interviews with the railroad soon. We are praying that he gets this job so we can have babies! It would make us move a few hours away and over a mountain, but we are trying to be smart about it as possible. The great thing about this job is it takes knowledge and experince. So not anyone can just come in off the streets know it. So with the rescion(sp?) hitting we should have job serciurity. We are also really looking at getting a couple Nigerian Dwarfs for milk. Our plan is to be as self suffficent as possible. SAGERATS YOU HAVE MILK GOATS RIGHT? But I need to get off here hope everyone is going good, if or when we get this job we should have our own internt and I will be back a lot more! |

Well sorry it has been so long. Very busy!! Things are going great!! How are all of you?
We had a wonderful Christmas with Precious!!! Santa came to our house and visited, for a couple hours!! Things here are just getting CRAZY!! We have Precious birthday soon and then the wedding. I can't believe that my baby is going to be three!!! Wow where did the time go? She has really been growing (and inch in one month) and learning! The other day we started a thing were we are learning the 10 commandments. She herself has wrote the first one. She is learning the presidents, national bird, national flower, what state she lives in, that state bird, flower, tree and capital! I guess it was in Sep. that she really got the writing thing down. She made her very first birthday card for Daddy Jake! I think its still sitting in his living room for all to see! This spring she named her feet(something that took me awhile to understand what was going on)!!! She is no longer a toddler that is for sure!!! We have beautiful converstations wich I greatly enjoy!! Her thought process is just amazing! I can't believe that next year we will really be "schooling" her!! I feel like she should still be teething not learning to read! Jake and I have been going to the pre-martial counsling, and really enjoying it!! He gave us a book to read called "the five love languges" we have found that very interseting!! I recommend it. Things are going great with us. Getting very excited for the wedding and the whole new chapter to our lives that will bring! Well very busy hoping to have time to check on all of you! Kristal |

Precious and I always talk how we will move into Jake's house once we are married. And we have our bigger things there. I have also been going over there while Jake's at work and kind of orgainzing the house. Less I will have to do once we are married. So Precious and I have been talking about painting because the house has the lovely dark wood panelling (ugh) Precious old me she wanted pink walls and purple shelves. So while she was at her father's for a week that is what I did. The room is so cute!!! And lighting the walls makes the room feel bigger. I also have a wonderful friend, she is actually the wife to Jake's best friend. The other day she asked me if I would sew if I had a sewing machine I told her of course but I would have to learn. (Something I have been wanting to do for awhile) So she then told me that she had got herself a new sewing machine and hse wanted to give me her old one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was so nice of her!! So on Sunday we went to wal mart and found Dora pillow fabric on sale so I went ahead and got two of them. I also found this very bright oragne with bright pink flower fabric that matched and for my first sewing project made Precious pillows. She was so excited when I showed her!! I think its even harder for her to leave now!! LOL I will have to post pics some time! |

Ever since I homeschooled my-self the last two years of high school, I knew I wanted to homeschool my children. And its something, as I am sure most of you know, that A LOT of people just don't like the idea of. Well entering our relationship Jake and I talked about this and he was very hessant. And we all know that for a homeschool to work its magic BOTH parents really need together on it. So I begged him to just allow me to do up to second grade with Precious and other future children. Then at that time we would discuss how he feels. Well Precious and I always talk and just learn from everyday things. Everyone around Jake, Precious and I have commented on how smart she is. One lady even told us that we must have her in a wonderful pre-school. We just laughed and told her "Precious is only two and a half" I have to admit Precious is just shocking me!!!!!!! She really picks up on things. She can count to 10 very well, and somedays to 14. She knows her ABC's and has even started writing letters. A H E I O T the easier one but hey she is only two!!! We have always worked on adding and she has really picked up on that. Oh this list could go on and on. But she is just AMAZING!!! So one day Jake's Mom and I were talking and I told her how I feel about public school and my dream to homeschool. She informed that she thinks that is wonderful and is willing to support me on that!!!! Wow! What a blessing. Jake at that time still hessant. Well this weekend we went camping and just enjoyed are small family, and dreaming about when we will be married and are family can grow. On the way home sunday, Precious was in the baby seat singing her heart out. Jake looked at me and said "Kristal you have done a wonderful job with Precious, she is at a Kindergarden level at least and she is only two, I know you will do a wonderful job homeschooling her and any other future children." I have his Blessing!!! Thank YOU Heavenly Father for such a wonderful man!! You have blessed me so well!!! |

Well so far I have been unable to find what I am looking for. But I did stumble across a web site for Kindermusik. I was wondering if anyone here has been involved with them and what they thought. A friend and I are thinking that we might look into starting one??? But of course there is not one around to visit and see what they are like. So I am hoping that you can help. Postive or negative feeding back would be wonderful!!! |
