The "Sweet Stuff"

Catching up!

Things are going GREAT here.  Precious and I have just been slowly but surely get more knowledge in her beautiful mind!  Her reading is going great, she loves to waterpaint.  And her imagination is running top-notch!!

We are settling in at the house.  Precious and I have been sleeping together for almost 2 years now so we are having a HARD time breaking that!!!!!!!!!  I knew it was not the best thing for us to do, but you have to do what you have to do.  One thing I am trying out is.  She has to make her bed, so when she comes to crawl into bed with us I remind her to make her bed.  Sometimes she falls back to sleep in her bed and sometimes not.  She is still very much a morning person.  And days to start early around her, but not THAT early (2am-5am).

Jake and her relationship is blooming even more so now!!!!!  She loves to "family" hug.  And when he prays at dinner time so copies what he says.  Then before bed we read out of a "family" Bible.  In my mind slightly water down kid version.  And if he is busy feeding the animals or what ever we have to wait for Daddy Jake.  I makes my heart and soul so happy to see her have a wonderful, positive relationship with a Daddy figure. Not one that makes men, in her mind MEAN and SCARY!!!!!

Jake is a wonderful blessing to our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now in our relationship we are trying to make GOOD habits so when times are harder we won't start creating bad habits.  He is so soft spoken, loving, caring man.  Precious and I call him Super Man.  Because that it just who he has been for me my whole life.   Its just a dream come true, I really thought he would never look my way, in that way.  He prays with us as a family, he encourages, and helps me to teach Precious.  He listens.  Anyways I could go on and on about what a blessing he is.  And he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are thinking about the future.  Super Man has applied and got an interview with the railroad here.   We are waiting to hear back now.  Please pray that the Heavenly Father's will, will be done.   The positives is that we would have wonderful bennie (insurance, retirment) and we see lots of wonderful things about it, but we would have to move around a 100 miles from his parents.  Which would be good for awhile (don't get me wrong I LOVE his parents) but to be just our family for a little bit.  But his father really needs help here on the farm. And during the interview one thing they said is that anyone looking to get in the railroad and just transfore FORGET!!!  He stayed anyways and finished the interview.   But once they train you at one depot they want to keep you there.  Oh the job would be either a; desiel electrican or a desiel electrican apperance.  Super Man was a aviation electronic enginer (sp on all that) in the Navy for 5 years.  But we know with the job he has right now, there will be no babies(no insurance) :(

We are also trying to become more self-suffecent(SP).  We would like to have some dairy goats, we have our own chickens, plant a garden (something he usually does anyways) learn how to freeze and can food. Something his grandma is wonderful at!!  And just be prepaired for the recetion (sp).

Well will take long enough to read. More next time.
