The other night while we were all sitting at the dinner table Precious said "You know what the opposite of up is?" " down". "Thats right" Super Man and I said. Oh but the fun didn't stop there. She just kept nameing more and more opposites off, and she was doing GREAT. So I gave her a tough one. So then Super Man said " Whats the opposite of Black" That was a good one it took her awhile to think, but in the end she got it. Oh we tried for quite a while to stump her, but she managed to surpise us once again. So today we were driving around just hoping to find a house with a 'For Rent' sign on it. Precious started talking about her dreams. Oh she has some crazy ones! While talking about her dream she mentioned a shot gun, "but they are kind of slow" she said. Hmm interesting thought, I thought to myself. Then she says "the fast gun like a .22". Hmm very interesting. I said something like well Precious I am very impressed that you know the names of those to guns! Then Super Man decides to test her, "Precious, which one would kick more when you shoot it; a shot gun or a .22?" "Well" say Precious "I would have to say a shot gun" Wow both Super Man and I were impressed now! Thats wonderful that a girl at 4 pays so much attention and remembers simple things that NO public school would teach! And you never know that knowledge just might save her life someday! During lunch Precious started coming up with rhyming words. Its very cute though if she can't think of a word to rhym with the word she is thinking, she will make up her own word. Thats a healthy imagination she has! But again Super Man and I decided to test her. So we start asking trick questions and she gets them with out missing a beat. I don't know where the consider "normal" for a 4 year old, but she just seems like she gets it very well! Our little Super B (our son) he is wonderful, he already has his nights and days figured out. And at 5 days old I put him on his tummy for tummy time. And like any Mommy with a new baby I just sat, watched and talked to him. The next thing I know he twist his little legs and goes from tummy to side. NO way did he do that on purpose I tell my self. So I put him back on his tummy and again he does it! Can't be I tell my self and again put him on his tummy. And again he does it. Ok I tell my self, he won't remember how to do it in a day. So the next day I put him on his tummy and watch. In about 2 min. he manages to turn from his tummy to his back! Well just to make sure I was really seeing what was going on I again put him on his tummy and he plays for a little bit and then twists his little legs and rolls on to his back AGAIN! I can't believe that my little BABY is already rolling from tummy to back. But I have informed the rest of the family, so our little Super B will not be left for one min. unattened on any peice of furniture!!!!! |
