Super Man and I really believe in TRAINING your children in the way they should go. Not allow them to misbehave, or talk back, or just be rude or disrespectful. No we are not perfect parents, and yes we make mistakes or don't correct something that we should. But on the most part Precious is a GREAT kid and we demand that she behave like a good person. Super Man and I are having a hard time finding children that are GOOD for Precious to play with. We even have one set of friends (we have been friends for over ten years) that we have decided that we need to slowly "wean" away from. They are good people and we love being with them. But they just allow their children to say and do BAD things. And also they allow their children to watch HORRIBLE things. And we can already see what its doing to the children. I found out recently that our neighbor is someone I went to school with. And she agreed we needed to get our children together. Well the Mommies have lots in common, we both are really into living more natural, avoiding toxins. We actually both have ideas for a house that we are hoping to build that stay away from the toxins and put more natural materials in it. But her children are SO misbehaived and mean. Now Precious did fine, but on the way home we talk about how bad that the children were to behaive the way they did. And that you NEVER treat Mommy or your siblings that way. She then invited me to a meeting that a few families around here get together and help each other learn more natural ways. So I went and loved the information but again. You should of seen these children. They were totally telling mommy and daddy what to do or that they were not going to do what the parents say. It was like a zoo full of monkeys!!! Its just so sad that people are allowing the children to run their lives!!! I just wish we could find ONE family that was into GOD, living naturally and TRAINING their children!!! Its scary to thinlk about our children growing up and looking for a spouse. I mean is this all they are going to have to chiose from? I pray about this a lot. I pray that our children will find someone that is not self centered. That loves JESUS and our HEAVENLY FATHER, that they will know how to treat others and hopefully know what a Heavenly Marriage is and desire to have one for their own. Why are people willing to be so miserable? I mean every one of those parents comments how agervating their children are. So why not change? Why not enjoy being around your children?

Well we finally have internet at our house so maybe I will be able to get on here more!!
As for updates.... Our Son was born. We had the most wonderful home water birth! It was so stress free. I couldn't believe how easy it was to labor when you have no stress. My whole labor was probably 5 hours. Super Man the midwife (the greatest ever!!!!!!!!!!!!) and I never stopped haveing a converstation. Super Man got into the birthing tub with me. Our four year old daughter Precious (I can't believe she is four now!) Was here the whole time and a huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help!! My mother in law was here just in case Precious needed something or wanted to leave. But Precious was very into being here and watching. My mother in law was able to take some wonderful pictures. Our son was born at 10:10 pm weighting 8lbs 7oz and 21in. He is a spitting image of his Daddy. With dark brown hair, and brown eyes. His big Sister is completly in love. She picks his clothes out everyday and makes sure she will have something to match his. She can't hold him enough. And is always there to help burp him, change his diaper, talk, read or sing to him. Her most common pharse now is "He is just so cute!" He is a wonderful baby, cries very little and already has his nights and days figured out. He sleeps through the night with only 2 or 3 feedings. My midewife is the greatest!!! I will never have anyone else deliver a baby for me again.
Precious is growing way to fast. And is so wonderfully smart. A HUGE help. And a wonderful amazing blessing from our LORD!!!!!!!!!!! She is sounding out words very well now, has quite a few words she can read without it now. She is a great speller, she is able to simple addtion, and we have started looking at fractions and even added a few with great success. She is great with other children. Even parents of other children are amazed at how well she can handle "difficult" children. You know the ones that don't want to share and only boss people around. I have had one mom tell me that she didn't think any child could play with her "difficult" child. And there was Precious just figuring out as best she could to make them both happy. I do wish we could find a little girl her age that was easy to get along with to play with. Precious has all boys to play with. Super Man and my marriage is GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Even after the baby was born we are still completly connected and each others bestfriend. This is something I was greatly worried about because it was when Precious was born that my first marriage REALLY took a wrong turn. But now I know it was just because that is what was planned on his part. I talked alot to Super Man while prego about my concerns and worries. He was so understanding, really took them to heart. But the worries are gone now. When you are married to the right person its amazing how great it can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super Man is now going to college on line. He is getting his applied science degree in power plant tech. hopeing to get on with a power company close to here. He is doing great so far, I am so proud of him!!! His first day of school I went into false labor, I had contractions every 10min for 4 hours. We really thought it was the real deal. And he just worked as fast as he could to get his school done so he could be with me. And then 2 days latter I did go into labor and have the baby. So not only is he a first time Daddy to a baby but new in collage and keeping up with it all! The other day he sat down and wrote 3 300 word papers and 7 50 to 100 word paper!! Ha I couldn't of wrote one in a day! He is a very smart man, and it really is showing right now. We are praying to find a diffrent house SOON!! His parents are really wanting to sell the place that we are living, for a retirement. His Dad is retireing this May. He lost a lot of his 401k when the stocks crashed. I believe it was over half. So we are and have been trying to find somewhere to move. But times are so hard. And Super Man's place of work is iffy (it may have to file banckrupcy) that we don't think its a good idea to buy. Well thats a lot of updating. I hope I can get in touch with all my old friends on here. |

This pregnacy is so different than with Precious. I felt the baby move the first time around the 13-14 wk mark. And have been feeling it outside for a while. I have been trying to get Super Man a chance to feel the baby and it seemed liked it was never going to work. But the other night we were curled up on the couch watch the Oplympics. His hand was on my belly, when I felt the baby kick but usually he doesn't feel it so I didn't say a word. All of a sudden Super Man said "I FELT THAT, I FELT THAT!!!" Then the baby gave him a real good kick, and he got even more excited. It was so funny! When I was trying before it seemed like he didn't understand why I thought it was so important. Now that he has felt his baby kick he gets it!! Now I just have to get Precious to feel it. I think she will be just as excited! Speaking of Precious. This is the first year we are "schooling" her. Of course we have been all along. But this year we are trying for more of a schedule. Its working out GREAT so far. She is such a wonderful girl!!!! I can't believe I am describing my BABY as a girl. Oh how time flys!!!!!!!!!!!! She loves to be able to talk to Grandma about what we are doing, and to show Daddy Super Man every night when he comes home. Oh one thing I could use help on, is I just finally found children safety scissors. So Precious is struggling a little with them. I keep thinking I have came up with simple ideas, but I think I am expecting to much from her in this. Anyone with good ideas for a starter with scissors would be GREAT!! Something that she really like is tounge twisters!! We say them together ever day. And I have to admit I have seen a HUGE improvement on speach with her. I am very impressed!!!! I think with our baby we are going to be saying the tounge twisters to him or her everyday. As a family we are waiting on the railroad. We have put in Super Man's application with them. And just praying to God this is what HE wants for us!!! It would require us to move about 2 hours away. And in an area that we don't really like, but at this point we are willing to make anything work. We would be closer to our midwife and away from this REALLY bad hospital so those are some good points. And the houseing market has dropped there, so maybe we would be able to buy and not have to rent. Witch for our live style would be wonderful. Its hard finding someone willing to rent to us with our animals even though NONE of them live in the house with us! Please keep us in your prayers that we either get this job with the railroad or God with guide us to the right job! Thanks everyone! Kristal |

Well lots has happend since my last update. But at the same time not much either. We are still job searching. We would love to move to Wy but it just is not working out. The job for the railroad is open again that Super Man got it last interview with here in the same state that we are living. So we will be applying for that next month (when his 6 months is up). But the great news is that we are PREGNATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Due in January!!!!! This came as a shock and are going with a wonderful midwife. Thank God for her since we have no insurance and she is willing to take monthly payements and is VERY knowlegdeable!!!!!!!!! So far things are going great!! I am mearsureing a little big and with twins on both sides of the family she is asking us to get an ultra sound. but she knows of a place thats kind of close that will do it for $180.00 witch is so much lower than our local hospital!!!! Precious is so excited!!!! From the start she told us that she thinks mommy has a sister and a brother in there. She loves to pick out things for the baby and is so thoughtful I hope this behavior continues once the baby is born. Precious is GREAT growing fast and learning a mile a minute. She is counting by 10's now and can almost make it to 100 without help. She really can read but doubts herself. And when I point out to her that she is reading she just looks at me blankly and says "no I am not!" I need to find a better way to build her confidence. She tried dance class this summer and loved it until her father told her he didn't want to take her on HIS time. So she thought he didn't want her to go and I have not been able to get her to go since. I hope next year it will work out better. I tried to get him to tell her that is was he didn't want to spend 45 min of his time with her at dance class. And that he likes that she dances but he wouln't. Life is GREAT, Super Man and my marriage is wonderful I didn't know how great marriage could be. Its truely amazing at the difference!!!! Precious has figured out that her father and I use to be married and asks questions and we as a family talk about it. And try to be as open as possible but I refuse to tell her that her father was very mean. She doesn't remember and I think that is the best. All she knows is that she is lucky to have two daddies that love her very much!

Well we talked about the BNSF job. And while I was trying to find info. about the area. I came across a better one. So now we are still looking at wyoming. And all we have found out about it is wonderful. They are good with homeschooling (no big rules, or regulations.) They are mainly a Christian homeschooling group. The town we are looking into has a wonderful group there. I mean anything Super Man and I have been looking for is there. We sent his resume in today. Please pray that we get this job, and that the Heavenly Father opens doors for us. The move is going to be around 1000 miles! So its going to be tough. And it looks like we are going to have to buy property and then either build a house or put a manufactured on it. Everyone around agrees that it seems the best move for us as a family. Precious will not go to her fathers except every other month for a week. Then in September we will have to come up with something different. But she was very excited to learn about the homeschooling group there. Actually she then started stratigizing "Well we could take the Ford and hook our car to it with the hookie (wench) and then we could have both cars there. One to get fired wood and one to drive around with." Thanks everyone for the prayers! |

Well just a few days after the last post, we finally got the answer. And nope Super Man didn't the job. I think I took it worse than he did. But I just kept asking the Heavenly Father to forgive me and help me move on. So yesturday (about a week after) I got on the net and found a job in WY with BNSF railroad. Mentioned it to Super Man, and he was intrested! Wow that shocked me. His father is getting close to retireing and Super Man just wants to be close to continue to help here on the farm. So today I was researching more about the job and the area. When I came across on Aviation Techincan job (what he did in the Navy) called him and he seemed pretty excited. I have researched the company all day. They seem like a good company. So here again I am asking for prayers. Super Man and I will be talking tonight and deciding if he is going to apply. Maybe just maybe this is why Super Man didn't get the job at the railroad. Please just pray for our family as we find a job to better our lives. |

Things are going GREAT here. Precious and I have just been slowly but surely get more knowledge in her beautiful mind! Her reading is going great, she loves to waterpaint. And her imagination is running top-notch!! We are settling in at the house. Precious and I have been sleeping together for almost 2 years now so we are having a HARD time breaking that!!!!!!!!! I knew it was not the best thing for us to do, but you have to do what you have to do. One thing I am trying out is. She has to make her bed, so when she comes to crawl into bed with us I remind her to make her bed. Sometimes she falls back to sleep in her bed and sometimes not. She is still very much a morning person. And days to start early around her, but not THAT early (2am-5am). Jake and her relationship is blooming even more so now!!!!! She loves to "family" hug. And when he prays at dinner time so copies what he says. Then before bed we read out of a "family" Bible. In my mind slightly water down kid version. And if he is busy feeding the animals or what ever we have to wait for Daddy Jake. I makes my heart and soul so happy to see her have a wonderful, positive relationship with a Daddy figure. Not one that makes men, in her mind MEAN and SCARY!!!!! Jake is a wonderful blessing to our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now in our relationship we are trying to make GOOD habits so when times are harder we won't start creating bad habits. He is so soft spoken, loving, caring man. Precious and I call him Super Man. Because that it just who he has been for me my whole life. Its just a dream come true, I really thought he would never look my way, in that way. He prays with us as a family, he encourages, and helps me to teach Precious. He listens. Anyways I could go on and on about what a blessing he is. And he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are thinking about the future. Super Man has applied and got an interview with the railroad here. We are waiting to hear back now. Please pray that the Heavenly Father's will, will be done. The positives is that we would have wonderful bennie (insurance, retirment) and we see lots of wonderful things about it, but we would have to move around a 100 miles from his parents. Which would be good for awhile (don't get me wrong I LOVE his parents) but to be just our family for a little bit. But his father really needs help here on the farm. And during the interview one thing they said is that anyone looking to get in the railroad and just transfore FORGET!!! He stayed anyways and finished the interview. But once they train you at one depot they want to keep you there. Oh the job would be either a; desiel electrican or a desiel electrican apperance. Super Man was a aviation electronic enginer (sp on all that) in the Navy for 5 years. But we know with the job he has right now, there will be no babies(no insurance) :( We are also trying to become more self-suffecent(SP). We would like to have some dairy goats, we have our own chickens, plant a garden (something he usually does anyways) learn how to freeze and can food. Something his grandma is wonderful at!! And just be prepaired for the recetion (sp). Well will take long enough to read. More next time. |

Precious has been really pick up on words and reading them. So yesturday I decided that maybe we should keep track. So now I write down the words that she reads in the new flash cards wonderful Aunt N. got her. Yesturday we did a whole new set and she got 11 of the words right!! I was so excited I was shocked at some of them, like...parrot, voilin, monkey, ect. I know I have spelled these words for her a few times but she knew them instantly! Wow she is a smart one! The Heavenly Father has truely blessed us greatly! Has anyone here dealt with enchantedlearning.com ? When I got online to look for some President Day ideas I came across them. It seemed they had some wonderful little books for children to color, that also had some facts about the president but they want you to pay. So I was wanting all the input before I decide. I did come a cross another website that was free...apples4theteacher.com . They are free I was able to find a few facts on there and some free coloring sheets of president's so that is the way I went this year. What kind of things are you doing for President's Day? |

Well we have had a good year for snow. Our drive has had up to 4 feet of snow this year. I have managed not to get stuck until the other day. While Precious and I were on our way up I had noticed that there was some horrible deep tracks in the drive way. Then I recalled the meter read coming up to my MIL's that day. He did try getting up our drive in 2 wheel drive!! Thats a laugh, but appernetly someone pulled him out. So I mentioned to Precious that this might get really bumpy. Sure enough it got VERY bumpy and then crunch. My car feel through the thin layer of ice and into the deep tracks. I tried everything ( I have bad tires and no tracktion) I even but it into 4 low trying to just creep out, nothing worked. But the cutiest thing was as soon as I told Precious that we were stuck she said in the most adult voice every "You need to call someone call Daddy Jake, call Grandpa Mommy call someone" "no I can get out" "no you can't mom call someone , call Daddy Jake." So I did I knew at that point I was not getting out on my own. I call Jake and told him that my car was stuck and that Precious and I was just going to walk the rest of the way up to the house.v And then while I was getting Precious out of the car she looked at me and said again in and adult voice " Mom you should have chains on your tires!" LOL I guess me talking to her all winter long on how slick the roads are, and not going to fast and all the other talks we have had been hitting home!!!!!!!!!! |
|
Well again its taken me to long to write!! Precious is doing wonderful!! She is so bright!!! She had her third birthday the other day and then we all (Jake's parents, our friends) went bowling and she loved it! Grandpa was able to get some wonderful pictures! Precious has got into trying to figure out how everything is linked together. She will have these very long thoughts prosses (thank the LORD its out loud)!!! Like the other day it was "snow was on the ground, then it got warm and turned to water, then it got cold and the water froze, and the water froze it what makes the roads slick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that came out of a three year old?????? I have a hard time believing it! But one day she was trying to figure out how the air and the hawks are linked and she did she worked it all out in her beautiful little head!!! She is an amazing child!! Jake and I our now married!!! Precious was very excited for that and actually it took us 2 days to get her out of her flower girl dress!!!! LOL But right after the wedding she was doing one of her thinking process and said something like "Daddy Jake and Mommy both have wedding rings, so they are married, now that they are married we can have a baby! Ok Mommy and Daddy Jake I want a baby brother!!!" LOL So AGAIN we had to explain to her that it would be awhile because we needed to wait tell insurance. She didn't like that answer! LOL She is going to be a wonderful big sister, its something that we have talked about alot and how she will help us. And when we are spending family time together we always ask her, so where would the baby be if we had one right now? And she always makes room the baby!! Jake has interviews with the railroad soon. We are praying that he gets this job so we can have babies! It would make us move a few hours away and over a mountain, but we are trying to be smart about it as possible. The great thing about this job is it takes knowledge and experince. So not anyone can just come in off the streets know it. So with the rescion(sp?) hitting we should have job serciurity. We are also really looking at getting a couple Nigerian Dwarfs for milk. Our plan is to be as self suffficent as possible. SAGERATS YOU HAVE MILK GOATS RIGHT? But I need to get off here hope everyone is going good, if or when we get this job we should have our own internt and I will be back a lot more! |

Well sorry it has been so long. Very busy!! Things are going great!! How are all of you?
We had a wonderful Christmas with Precious!!! Santa came to our house and visited, for a couple hours!! Things here are just getting CRAZY!! We have Precious birthday soon and then the wedding. I can't believe that my baby is going to be three!!! Wow where did the time go? She has really been growing (and inch in one month) and learning! The other day we started a thing were we are learning the 10 commandments. She herself has wrote the first one. She is learning the presidents, national bird, national flower, what state she lives in, that state bird, flower, tree and capital! I guess it was in Sep. that she really got the writing thing down. She made her very first birthday card for Daddy Jake! I think its still sitting in his living room for all to see! This spring she named her feet(something that took me awhile to understand what was going on)!!! She is no longer a toddler that is for sure!!! We have beautiful converstations wich I greatly enjoy!! Her thought process is just amazing! I can't believe that next year we will really be "schooling" her!! I feel like she should still be teething not learning to read! Jake and I have been going to the pre-martial counsling, and really enjoying it!! He gave us a book to read called "the five love languges" we have found that very interseting!! I recommend it. Things are going great with us. Getting very excited for the wedding and the whole new chapter to our lives that will bring! Well very busy hoping to have time to check on all of you! Kristal |
