I am so excited we are going on a vacation! God has truely blessed us with this!!! I have not gone on vacation since I was 6 months prego with our daughter. Well she is 4 years now! I have been begging SuperMan to takea vacation, but with money tight I knew the most we would probably get is camping. Then one day I recieved a phone from my old room-mate. She had just moved to Tillamook Oregon and is going to be away for a while, she wanted to know if we would like to use her house to take a vacation!!! So all we have to come up with is extra money for fuel. Since we will be staying at her house I will have a kitchen to cook in. There for we will spend what we usually do on groceries there. ONLY the HEAVENLY FATHER could of done this for us!! I hope to have some good pics to share with you all when we return. |

To give you an idea of how BIG this wood pile is lets start from the beging. Our wood pick-up is this old 81 Ford, that some one dropped the old back axle and put in a Dodge dully axle in its place. Then made a oversized flatbed. It measures close to 8 ft wide by 10ft long! It can hold close to 4 cords of wood! Well with SuperMan going to school our wood shed has been coming together very slowly. So every time we have came home from getting wood SuperMan just backs the truck up to the side of whats going to be the wood shed (right next to the walk way) and kind of throws and kind of stacks the wood. Just a few days ago we had some family and friends over so SuperMan could have them as an aduiance for his Public Speaking speach. It was so funny, the men and their HIGH testosterone levels walked by and had to chop at least one round! The first one being my little brother. As he walked in the house the first thing he mentioned was the wood pile. He and his Wife had to leave early for they were celerbrating their ann. as he walked by on the way to leave, turned around picked up the spliting maul and choose his round and with one swing split in half. Look up with a huge grin and ask he got into the car said "I just had to do that!" I just had to laugh this is my little brother that went away from the country life and took up the suit and tie everyday for work. Then as my older brother was leaving he too picked up one round and with one swing split his round in half. With a statisfied grin put on his helemt and left. Later on while our friends arrived she and I were talking on the pourch while SuperMan BBQ we noticed her husband pick up the splitting maul. I smiled at her and wispered to her of the earlier events. And with a huge cracking sound the first round flies in half. Well her husband had encouragement, their 1 1/2 yr old son gave a out a joyful sqeal. That was all it took, his daddy split half the pile, just because it delighted his son so much (men really loved to be admired even if its from a baby)!! I have always admired my SuperMan's brains and muscles. But after everyone left I told him how impressed I was with his "strategically" place wood pile!! Thanks to all those macho men that helped my husband so much!
P.S. It looks like we will be in court in 2 weeks please keep us in your prayers! |

I can't believe it! I can't believe someone so young could die just like that!! The dr.'s said that it pretty muc decapitated her. That you can't really do anything about it. Please keep my SIL and her family your prayers! Her husband and her we one of those couples that if they had each other nothing was wrong! I met them when they were homeless, because he lost his job and you would of NEVER known that they were going through a hard time. She was so smilely and happy and loving. I don't think she met one person and not touch them!!!!!! I don't think I ever saw her without a smile. My SIL will be planning the funneral. |

The home that we had been living in was a very, very small house. But with a child you play hide and seek anyway. The other day Precious and Super Man were playing hide and seek. They were having a ton of fun with lots of giggles and sqeals. When all of a sudden Precious says "its so nice to have hidding places Daddy, we don't just have to hide on the beds anymore!" Oh what trueth out of a little girl. We all had a good laugh. It truely is nice to have a little more room! We are enjoying our new home, though we dearly miss the ranch. Last time we went to the ranch the elk were in the front yard. And we all said at the same time "we miss that!". The elk would come into our yard every night and during rut, we could hear them even if the t.v. or radio was on. |

Well with Super B we have been trying the infant potty training. Its going good. We have been very successful with #2. But #1 is not doing so well. At least we are half way there! I can't believe how much Super B knows and can let me know!! Every morning he wakes me up make a certain sound, and we go sit on the tolite. If I read his que right, once on the tolite he is VERY content to sit there until he is finished. I feel that he truely enjoys not having a nasty diaper. But I was wondering if anyone else did the infant potty training and if so could they give me some tips? As for Precious she thinks is wondeful that her little brother is going on the tolite. She brags to everyone about it. One person asked me about it because they thought she was makeing it up. And when I said no they were quite shocked! She is a GREAT big sister!! He loves to watch her and she loves to entertain him!

Well we are finally moving. Its kind of hard leaving the family ranch. But it is deffently needed! I think one thing that makes it hard is we are renting. So I can't paint the walls and make it "our" new home. But I am VERY excited to move as well. Its funny how you can have such mixed emotions on one issue! Precious is excited. But I don't think she reliazes yet that there will be no more feeding cows with Grandpa is the mornings. I guess its the life style that I am going to dearly miss!!!!!!!!!!! We are just ranchers and yet we have to move off the ranch. I hope that one day we can move back and build a house here. But I don't know, God is incontrol and who knows where He is leading us. Its funny when I was a little girl, I always thought life kind of settle down, and you would just KNOW what life had instore for you. Now a Mommy of two it amazes me at how much you don't know!!! And how uncertain life really is!!!! I guess God's teaching me how I need to be GREATFUL for what we have and how long we have it, because you never know when it going to change! Writing this has made me realize just how much I am going to miss the ranch and the life it gives!!! I sure wish things could of ended diffrent. But thats life and its all a learning experiance! It saddens me to think that our son will not exerpince ranch life like his older sister. To see EVERYDAY how hard ranch can be but how REWARDING it is. Farming and ranching just teaches so much. And to think what Precious and Super B is going to miss, does tug at my heart strings. I have always been so thankful to live here. Maybe just maybe we can move back sooner than what it seems right now. WOW if I am having such a hard time with it I better be prepared to what it is doing on Super Man!!!!! I just wish there was another option for us. I guess maybe my family could use some prayers. |

The other night while we were all sitting at the dinner table Precious said "You know what the opposite of up is?" " down". "Thats right" Super Man and I said. Oh but the fun didn't stop there. She just kept nameing more and more opposites off, and she was doing GREAT. So I gave her a tough one. So then Super Man said " Whats the opposite of Black" That was a good one it took her awhile to think, but in the end she got it. Oh we tried for quite a while to stump her, but she managed to surpise us once again. So today we were driving around just hoping to find a house with a 'For Rent' sign on it. Precious started talking about her dreams. Oh she has some crazy ones! While talking about her dream she mentioned a shot gun, "but they are kind of slow" she said. Hmm interesting thought, I thought to myself. Then she says "the fast gun like a .22". Hmm very interesting. I said something like well Precious I am very impressed that you know the names of those to guns! Then Super Man decides to test her, "Precious, which one would kick more when you shoot it; a shot gun or a .22?" "Well" say Precious "I would have to say a shot gun" Wow both Super Man and I were impressed now! Thats wonderful that a girl at 4 pays so much attention and remembers simple things that NO public school would teach! And you never know that knowledge just might save her life someday! During lunch Precious started coming up with rhyming words. Its very cute though if she can't think of a word to rhym with the word she is thinking, she will make up her own word. Thats a healthy imagination she has! But again Super Man and I decided to test her. So we start asking trick questions and she gets them with out missing a beat. I don't know where the consider "normal" for a 4 year old, but she just seems like she gets it very well! Our little Super B (our son) he is wonderful, he already has his nights and days figured out. And at 5 days old I put him on his tummy for tummy time. And like any Mommy with a new baby I just sat, watched and talked to him. The next thing I know he twist his little legs and goes from tummy to side. NO way did he do that on purpose I tell my self. So I put him back on his tummy and again he does it! Can't be I tell my self and again put him on his tummy. And again he does it. Ok I tell my self, he won't remember how to do it in a day. So the next day I put him on his tummy and watch. In about 2 min. he manages to turn from his tummy to his back! Well just to make sure I was really seeing what was going on I again put him on his tummy and he plays for a little bit and then twists his little legs and rolls on to his back AGAIN! I can't believe that my little BABY is already rolling from tummy to back. But I have informed the rest of the family, so our little Super B will not be left for one min. unattened on any peice of furniture!!!!! |

Super Man and I really believe in TRAINING your children in the way they should go. Not allow them to misbehave, or talk back, or just be rude or disrespectful. No we are not perfect parents, and yes we make mistakes or don't correct something that we should. But on the most part Precious is a GREAT kid and we demand that she behave like a good person. Super Man and I are having a hard time finding children that are GOOD for Precious to play with. We even have one set of friends (we have been friends for over ten years) that we have decided that we need to slowly "wean" away from. They are good people and we love being with them. But they just allow their children to say and do BAD things. And also they allow their children to watch HORRIBLE things. And we can already see what its doing to the children. I found out recently that our neighbor is someone I went to school with. And she agreed we needed to get our children together. Well the Mommies have lots in common, we both are really into living more natural, avoiding toxins. We actually both have ideas for a house that we are hoping to build that stay away from the toxins and put more natural materials in it. But her children are SO misbehaived and mean. Now Precious did fine, but on the way home we talk about how bad that the children were to behaive the way they did. And that you NEVER treat Mommy or your siblings that way. She then invited me to a meeting that a few families around here get together and help each other learn more natural ways. So I went and loved the information but again. You should of seen these children. They were totally telling mommy and daddy what to do or that they were not going to do what the parents say. It was like a zoo full of monkeys!!! Its just so sad that people are allowing the children to run their lives!!! I just wish we could find ONE family that was into GOD, living naturally and TRAINING their children!!! Its scary to thinlk about our children growing up and looking for a spouse. I mean is this all they are going to have to chiose from? I pray about this a lot. I pray that our children will find someone that is not self centered. That loves JESUS and our HEAVENLY FATHER, that they will know how to treat others and hopefully know what a Heavenly Marriage is and desire to have one for their own. Why are people willing to be so miserable? I mean every one of those parents comments how agervating their children are. So why not change? Why not enjoy being around your children?
