Feb. 23, 2007 - Happy Birthday Luke!
Tomorrow (Feb. 24th) will be Luke's 2nd birthday. Where has the time gone... He is getting so big, talking up a storm and growing way too fast.
I have been talking up his party and he is adamant that he doesn't want one! What?? He keeps saying "no thanks Mommy, no thanks." Well, thanks for being polite but you are getting a party and you ARE going to like it!
Luke, being the second born is constantly being compared to Kylie. I know, I know... You aren't supposed to do that but we can't help it. As a newborn, Luke had the cry of someone who needed something yesterday. He had a screech that needed attention immediately. But as he grew, he was much more laid back than Kylie ever was.
At one, we noted that his birthmark was growing and getting darker. We researched the type of birthmark that he had and found a Dr. in California who had great success removing and reconstructing the face after the removal of birthmarks. We flew out to California and on his 1st birthday he was getting plastic surgery in Beverly Hills. What 1 year old can say that?
Luke by nature is very easy going. He has the face of an angel who could melt your heart in a minute. His eyes are a window to his soul - expressing every mood and thought in his mind. He gets silly like the rest of us and usually has us rolling on the floor with laughter. It is such a joy to be a mom to a boy so special!
