Jan. 14, 2007 - Preparing For Our Trip!
We have been busy preparing for our trip down south. We will be leaving early Tuesday morning, staying overnight in Massachusettes at Annette's mother's home, then leaving Wed. to travel to Wendy's in VA. I will be staying with Wendy and her family for a time and plan (God willing) to get a job and save money to eventually move closer to family. Annette's family will be continuing on to NC to go to a wedding. They will then be staying at Wendy's on their way home and I believe an HKU graduation is being planned for the 24th of January. I am excited about that and I know I'm going to be able to meet a lot of wonderful ladies and their families.
Lately God has been teaching me to trust Him wherever He leads. I don't know for certain what the future holds, but I know that He is with me and He is sovereign. He will be with me and He will lead me in everything. Lately He has also been showing me my need to look to Him alone for satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. He is so good to work in me and it is not me, but Him working in me. Unto Him be all the glory.

So excited for you to begin this new chapter of life! I'm sure it's both exciting and a little sad to be ending HKU. Wish I could make it for the graduation. It's not too far, but hubby isn't able to come and doesn't want me navigating through DC traffic. Perhaps you can make your way to Delaware for a visit during the time you spend with Wendy's family!
