Home is Where the Heart is-Kei Te Kainga Te Ngakau

Jan. 31, 2008

30 odd degrees and a thunder storm...

...actually I'm not sure how hot it was today, but this evening it bucketed down, with thunder and lightening to boot.

It was so hot we had to go to the rec center for a swim in the pools, it was great, we finished the workbook type stuff early in the morning, and left after our cleanup was done.

Merah, is slightly apprehensive of the water, Gil Gway on the other hand loves it I popped him under the water and got him to blow out when he came up, he enjoyed the sensation I think.  He was also willing to swim around on his tummy with me supporting him, with no problems.

Merah holds on to you if you aren't holding her securely with both hands, and only just got to like floating on her back near the end of our session, but she's getting there.

Lisey is enjoying Hschooling this year, and I think if I have alot of variety to our days, she will carry on enjoying it.  See how it goes
