I pulled out my book this evening and started reading it. I've made a few notes in my notebook of things I know I need to have in my schedule. I think I'm going to take my grids to the office store and have them laminated...they're starting to look rough, my "old" schedule that was never used has been hanging on the wall for over a year and the corners are starting to curl up.
Chandler and I are about to watch Rumor Has It and then I'll wake up dh and get him off to work and get to bed myself. Tomorrow we have no plans again. I do need to call and see if blueberry picking is still going on.
Tonight for dinner I made summer squash and snow peas sauteed in butter and steamed some green beans, all these were from our garden. Amy came over and picked up some squash and zucchini and gave me some homemade raspberry jam she made that my daughter Alexis already tried on a piece of toast and the little stinker had the nerve to say it was the best she ever had!! About a month ago I made strawberry-rhubarb jam and she said it was the best she ever had...I guess I've been one upped by Amy's jam. I gave her a look and she said "well mom, I really don't like the rhubarb taste in yours, but Mrs. R's tastes perfect, but I'm sure when you make peach jam that will be the best." Mmm-hmm, I don't think I'm going to feed that child for a few days...THEN maybe she'll remember whose jam is best.
