Here's the books I'm going to read for the autumn challenge

Here's how I'm doing on my Autumn Reading Challenge. Not too good.  I've also picked up an extra book, Miss Julia Takes Over by Ann. B. Ross.  I've bumped up this post to remind myself to READ.

Wow! I don't think I'm up to anything close to that. My immediate goals are more survival oriented: laundry, fix meals, etc. :o) I've enjoyed reading your blog.

That is quite a pile. I checked out the link, but with my Littles, I'm not up for any more directed reading than the Great Books Partnership and my Bible study homework. I read more, but that's all I have time for.

Oct. 6, 2006 - You'll love the Miss Julia book!

It's fun and light. I haven't read one of those types of books in a while, since February--maybe even January. I got to the point I had outread all my favorite authors and then homeschooling became front and center and now all the exploring I'm doing. If it'll make you feel better, I'll photograph "my" stack of books (just let me know) and post it. I read all the Miss Julia books- they are easy and fun.

If you're feeling a little overwhelmed with your reading commitments, just tackle one book at a time. Oh, that was so EASY to say! LOL. I'm reading four books right now, I pick up the one closest to me whenever I can during the day. I shouldn't be writing this right now- I should be in bed, reading.

Good morning! It sounds like we're in the same place w/ being sick(I have a sinus infection) & being challenged w/ the fall reading challenge. :) I have 10 or 15(or more books to read)... I just love reading & keep getting more books. :) I do try to keep a Christian fiction & a Christian non-fiction going at the same time. I pray that you get to feeling better soon too. :) God's blessings upon you! :)
