Being Productive...
So yesterday I made zucchini muffins and chocolate chip cookies. Last night all the kids except Zarek wanted to camp out by the Christmas tree in the living room so I let them blow up the air mattress and Brett brought out his sleeping bag and they slept by the tree, I left it lit up all night for them.
We watched TV and I popped popcorn but when it was around 10:45 I turned the TV off and read to them from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire until Caitlyn fell asleep, then I went to bed and they fell right to sleep too.
This morning we all slept until 9AM, even Daddy! Thankfully he can make his own hours for the most part. He had his alarm set early but he woke up and turned it off, as usual.
Today I've done two loads of laundry, and all the clothes are put away. I cleaned up and dusted my room.
Zarek made my bed for me...what a sweetie!
NOW...for the to-do list of the day:
1. make more goodies! Brownies, blondies and snickerdoodles are on the menu
2. have children deliver tins/Christmas cards to neighbors
3. have children deliver Christmas gifts to their friends who are neighbors
4. clean kitchen and keep it clean as I bake
5. vacuum entire house (kids will help)
6. continue with laundry and put it away
7. make up stuffing for tomorrow's turkey
8. clean both bathrooms
9. clean kitty box (Caitlyn)
10. kids clean their rooms
I think that's it for now...
