Q.: What is your favoite night-time snack?
A:   Cookies!  soft, chocolate chip ones.

Q: If you could choose 3 comfort items to take with you for a year on a desert island, what would they be? (Your husband, children, and your Bible don't count.)
A: my pillow, my entire book collection, paper/pencils

Q: Why did you choose each item?
A:  have to have my pillow to get any kind of rest.  have to have great books for myself and the kids, paper and pencils to write about our experience and draw what we find.

Q: What is your first memory?
A:  My Papa (grandpa) sneaking in my room at night and giving me the candy my mom wouldn't give me because I hadn't finished my supper.  I was around 2.5
