So many people seem to be hungry for God to change their lives into what He wants them to be; what they desire to be... But He set that task for us -- free willed, strong willed, unwilling. we struggle. We weep. Sometimes shout. Do it Lord! We long for God to make changes on our behalf effortlessly, no pain, no discomfort. If He did, would we really be satisfied? Or if we were grateful, for how long? Have you not seen someone experience a great miracle and as time goes by it is rarely mentioned or remembered. Like the nine lepers who were healed and quickly got on with their lives without a backward glance Moving forward to the next set of problems we once again cry out expectantly, Knowing He'll be there but will He be "there" as we wish Him to be? We read, we think, we talk-- explaining to Him what the problem is How we feel about it What He should do and when... Life is good. But it's raining. Life is hard. But the sun still shines. Oh Wow. Oh Woe.
