• Aug. 14, 2008 - Homeschool Soccer League Pictures

My husband and I started a homeschool Soccer League and we were surprised at the turnout.  Here are some of the pictures.  We have a few students missing, because they were on vacation and a couple of teams still aren't photographed yet.

Here are two of our teams in action...orange and red teams.

Here are all but two of our teams:

This is my hubby's team, our 15yos is on this team...the tallest one that isn't bald.  lol

Here is the other teen team.  We had enough for two teams.  A few of the kids are missing, but they sure like to play one another.

Here are our other teams.  My 7yo son is on the back row on the right.

Another light blue team 4-7 (the boys and girls elected to be on different teams).

This team combined two teams together, because not enough showed up that day.

Aren't they just so cute?  I know I can hear my 15yos groaning when he reads this.  lol  But they are having such fun and they are so cute!

I hope to see homeschool soccer leagues all over the nation someday.

I especially like the two kids in the first picture who have their hands hidden in their shirts. That would be the only way I could keep from using my hands in soccer!

You have a big soccer league!

Peace and Laughter,

Hello! I just heard about your soccer league. I have a 4 1/2 year old who would love it so much. Do you have anymore room? If so, when do you meet? Is there anything I should know, etc.?

Thanks!

Kudos to you for filling what was obviously a need in your homeschooling community! Great job! Looks like you have plenty of participants - do they just play one another, or do you participate in league games and such?

Wanted you to know that I'm back around here! Update on my blog; we unexpectedly took the summer off for the first time. ;-)

It's getting tough to disguise!

Great idea to host a homeschool soccer league! We have a small population of homeschoolers here, heavy on the retired population...but we do have a pretty good soccer league. The girls do soccer, the boys, baseball.

I have an award for you over at my blog!

Blessings,
Anne-Marie

About Me

I am new to this blogging thing, so you'll have to put up with my inexperience. I am a homeschool mom of 5 (for the last 12 years). I love poetry (reading and writing), oil painting, water colors, cooking and scrapbooking. I love science fiction, and enjoy the mountains in the summer and fall. We enjoy bug collecting, rock collecting, and plant pressing. We love our nature notebooks, and our nature walks. I look forward to learning from you all. I love Charlotte Mason, be we use in conjunction with other forms of learning. We are flexible. LOL
