• Aug. 26, 2008 - Disneyland Not Back To School Week

 

We are planning a trip to Disneyland during SHEA's Not Back To School Week.  We will attend a dinner and dance for homeschoolers at Disneyland.

We don't have a big budget.  We bought our annual tickets to Disneyland when we sold a property months ago, and I am providing music for the dance and my 15yo son will give some dance lessons to the youth before the dance in order for us to attend the dinner...otherwise we wouldn't be able to afford to bring our large family.  lol

If anyone else is going, please come up and say "Hi!"  I'd love to meet you!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. It looks like you have a neat family and lots of fun learning.
I scrolled down and saw the pictures of your son jumping over your vehicles! Our 7yr old son likes 'dangerous' things too and has lately asked about gymnastics. Should I be worried?? =)

I also noticed the beautiful mountains in the background!

This Purple Girl is very Conservative. I am a red girl living in a Very Very Blue state which is how I became Purple.My biggest fear is Jimmy Carter Also a "Change" Campaign and WE do not need another Carter. But oh how tired I am of not being able to just be an American, that isn't taxed to death, believes in being a good steward of the earth. See, Purple. But in all honesty I am more of a red violet!!!
Yes, We can be friends, I would love that.

We aren't at Disneyland yet...we arrive on the 12th and come home on the 17th.

We started a small homeschool center today. The kids go twice a week and learn science, math tutor (for my 15yos lol), theater, art etc... On the other 3 days we learn reading writing and math.

I am teaching theater for the 4-8 year olds, and doing a yearbook club for the teens. I am also starting a football league. lol

Do you think I am busy enough? ;)
