Dec. 17, 2007 - I guess this means...Goodbye???

Recently it's been extremely hard for me to keep up with my own blog.  I've been working more on the Priceless Purity site, newsletter and blog more than my own, so I think it's time for me to "close down" this one - or at least, not write anymore on here.  I just don't have time to have my own blog on here at the moment.  Of course, I might work something out later, but for now, I'm going to go ahead and not worry about it anymore.  I hope that each of you have a wonderful Christmas!!!

God bless,

~Rachel

Sep. 25, 2007 - Sorry for the absence!

Please forgive me, yet again...For taking a long time to write something.  You don't know how hard it is for me to be consistant on here!    I know, it's been over a MONTH since I've been on here.  But, I have been pretty tied up in knots over things recently.  I'm in the process of putting together the Priceless Purity newsletter, and whoa, there are a lot of things to work on!

  I'm thinking of printing out these Priceless Purity hand-out papers, and putting them in places like Wal*Mart or other grocery stores or restauraunts.  I designed them in a cool layout, but, I'll probably have to make a few adjustments.

  I've made lots of banners and such on PhotoImpression4, which look pretty good, in my opinion.   I'll have to post them sometime, but at the moment, I'm not going to.  I'm not in the mood for fishing through photobucket!

  Okay, and I need to write up the Blogger Reflection and Rockin' Girl Blogger award ceremony speech.  Well, not exactly speech, but ya' know what I mean!

OH - By the way, yesterday Amanda got a LAPTOP!  It's pretty neat!  I'll probably get a laptop one of these days, but for now, I'll just use the desktop computer in our room.  (It's kind of funny, it looks like I get on the computer ALL the time when people come into our house and see it sitting in our room while I'm just working on stuff.)

GOD BLESS!

~RACHEL~

Aug. 16, 2007 - I'll Be Back...!

Hey all,

  Sorry for not responding to every comment.  (And thanks, all of you, for leaving them!  They're so sweet!) I'm going to be gone for awhile (again!), and since Jillian is visiting this weekend, we'll probably be busy doing other things as well, and I most-likely won't get around to writing on here, or responding to every comment.  But I definitely will try, whenever I find the time to do it.  (Which SHOULD be soon!)

If any of you girls have anything to contribute to the newsletter - perhaps some articles about home-making, and poems, or books and cds, and websites you'd like to recommend.  (Pretty much anything!  As long as it's good, pure material to publish!

Oh yes - if you have your own ministry, in form of blog, newsletter, forum, or site, please inform us about it!  Just write up a short description with your heart and mission for your ministry, (if you have a banner, that'd be great if you could share it with us!) and we'll post it on our site links panel.  We love to see God working through all of you, and your special gifts He has given in order to let you be examples of believers in word, conversation, charity, spirit, faith and purity.  (1 Tim. 4:12!)  If you would like us to write up a description of our site, for your links section, we'll do so!

The e-mail is (for those of you who don't know): PricelessPurity@yahoo.com

Again, if you have anything, even if it's not yet edited out. (It's okay, we'll gladly correct spelling errors and such.)

Remember to check out the site at www.PricelessPurity.org!  If you would like to sign up, to participate on the message boards,  it would be better to have a hotmail or msn e-mail (though, I suppose, you don't necessarily HAVE to, because it's worked with other e-mails before) and then click "Join Now".  If it does not work with your regular e-mail (if you use a different e-mail server) just make a free hotmail account.  (You don't have to give away personal information or anything.)  You would get more benefits for interacting with the site, but of course, if you can't join, that's perfectly fine as well.  We can still send out e-mails to every subscriber, so if you would like to subscribe, we'll add you to our list!

Also - if any of you get the chance, please tell us what you think about Priceless Purity, and if you would like us to write more articles for it, or something.

God bless you all, and thanks for reading!  (I know, the boys probably are bored of this post, but oh well!  May God's blessings still be upon you!)

Aug. 6, 2007 - Blog Awards and God-given Understanding

Alright, I seem to have gotten another award.  It was the Rockin' Girl Blogger award, and Mariel kindly gave it to me. (*Cough* Back in July, that is...Seems I didn't find it on comments until...just now.)

 I am going to have to choose more bloggers to give the award to, so be patient.

I've made a few changes on my blog.  For example, note that I have taken Eloise chick down.  She was getting far too noisy.  So, I had to give her up.    But, I have put a Matthew 5:8 banner I made, in her place, to make up for it.  Do you like it?  It took awhile for me to figure out how to get the file to change into a bitmap file, and Amanda had to show me how.  (Thanks, 'Manda!)

Well, I just felt like letting some of you all know that I will be giving the award to more people!  (It's really hard to choose though.)  Is it alright to give it to people already awarded?  I might need some help here...

On the brighter side of things, here is some Scripture for today...

"Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him." - Proverbs 30:5

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:  but the word of our God shall stand for ever." - Isaiah 40:8

We just really need to remember 2 things: 1, that the Word of God shall always stand, and 2, that His Word never contradicts itself.  It is pure and true, and those that know nothing of the Word of God, are the ones that claim that the Bible is full of contradictions.  Now, sometimes things confuse us in the Bible, or things change because of new things taking place (such as Jesus being the sacrifice, and us not having to make sacrifices to God anymore). If only they read the Bible with a clear and open mind, and actually understood it.  But, wisdom and understanding are only from God.  Wisdom and understanding come from God, and God only - especially the kind that is given to understanding His Word.

The first seven verses of Proverbs proclaim:

1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

 2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

 3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

 4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

 5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

 6To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

 7The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

(I had to get those last 7 verses off of Bible Gateway, which is a very helpful Bible resource!)

We need to remember to pray daily about recieving wisdom and understanding from God.  It is so important, because when we don't have it, we tend to rely on our own understanding of things, which as you know, is usually a misunderstanding.

 Alright...I feel better now, about including Scripture in my blog post.  I don't know why, it makes me feel that I can rest assured that I'm not leaving out God's Word.  *Feels like I need to write a short sermon before posting anything!*

EDIT:  I am going to be out of town Friday, and then for about 2 1/2 days, with my family, so I don't know if I'll have access to the internet or not.  Considering my dad bringing his laptop, I might, but just in case you don't hear from me, that's why.

May the Lord bless each of you!

~Lady Rachel~

Aug. 6, 2007 - It Has Just Occurred To Me...

My, oh my...My blog...It's so JUVENILE.  I am a very immature person of course.  But I'm just realizing what a goofball I truly am.  If you look at the archives, you'll see what I mean.  Of course, I don't WANT you to look at the archives. Hehe...

  I feel so bad for getting the Blogger Reflection award, since I don't have much of a good blog at all.  Oh well, it can still become one, right?  (By the way, Amanda is gonna help me get that link put on the sidebar.)

  Amanda's blog is so much better than mine.  It's probably because she really likes blogging more than me.  When I would get upset or annoyed, I must admit, I'd kinda...Pick on her about her always getting on her blog.  But really, she does like blogging a lot.  ONE time...She cried when her post didn't go through!!! *Embarrasses Amanda publicly, with just a small audience*  Well, anyway, sorry Amanda, but I thought that would show how you really are passionate about it, and so people could appreciate you more.  OH, and right now, Amanda is painting a picture of Beth.  *Watches Amanda doing it, without her knowing* Amanda is a good artist.  Trust me.  Anyone want a portrait done?  She could do it for you, I guarantee!  *Sets Amanda up*

  I just started remembering how I used to blog a LOT on here, and get lots of comments. *Those were the days*  I got so busy working on Priceless Purity, I think I neglected "Rachel's Pointe".  (I'm still attempting to figure out exactly what the "point" was. I guess I thought it was really enticing.  Well, of course, pointe shoes might have had a major deal with it.)

  But I feel BAD that I didn't include much scripture, instead, BLABBED about myself and what I did daily.  (As if that was truly interesting.)  I suppose I didn't know what a blog really was for.  You know, now it dawns on me even more.  That was a year ago.  That was ONLY a year ago.  And yet, I label myself as even worse than I am now.  That's pretty saddd.  *Feel free to cry* (Oh dear, I include too many asterisks (*) in my posts.  I can definitely see how that can be annoying!)

Now since you've enjoyed reading about me bashing myself, I shall let you go about your lives happily.   (As you can see, that is usually the first sentence I write when composing a blog entry...JK!)  LOL!  *Imagines that really being true*

Well, sorry about being so very BASHful in this post.  I just felt like relieving myself.  No, I'm kidding.  I just felt like explaining my past blog entries.  They reaaaly weren't that good, and I know I could have performed better.  *Is full of pride* Nah, I guess not.  Knowing me, I wouldn't have allowed myself to do that.  Anyway, I MUST GO!  The clock is striking 12...!  (Even though, it really isn't.)

Don't be surprised if next year, you see me referring to this post as TERRIBLE.  Because, I think, by then, it will be.

Anyway!  Thanks for reading this far!  And if you have just skimmed to this part, congratulations.  It just proves you are not a time waster!  (No, I'm kidding. *Imagines all the many faces of bloggers frowning at me* LOL!  That's a funny thought...)

Have a blessed day...Er, night,

~"Lady" Rachel~

P.S. ~ And sorry for not keeping my promise about not writing more about myself.  I WILL, I shall, I MUST write about more important things.  Like, SAVING THE PLANET!  *No, I'm kidding*  I just think I need to be more serious about things, and stop doting on my goofiness.  Because really, what is it doing for you?  I can just imagine, everyone seeing this, staring blankly at the screen and saying, "I'm not amused."... :(.  :((.  :(((. *WAAAH*  Okay, SORRY.  I realllly need to quit writing on this post now.

Aug. 2, 2007 - Another apology!

Hey there!
  Sorry yet AGAIN for not being able to keep up with things.  I'm such a bad blogger.  Oh well.  Anyway, I've been awarded the Blogger Reflection Aware twice, I believe, so I feel kinda bad for not getting on and writing about it.  I have been very preoccupied with other things (and
Priceless Purity, as well!) so it's kind of hard to update with so much stuff going on.  Jillian hasn't been able to get on the computer very much, in fact, I think their computer has a virus.  So, I hope some of you understand, because I've been feeling a bit GUILTY for not updating very much.  (Not that it matters...I don't believe as many visit this blog, which is sorta a relief. HAHA!)

  And thanks Briana and Sharla, for the Blogger Reflection!

God bless,

~Rachel~

Jul. 27, 2007 - A bit worn out

Hi everyone...

  Sorry that it's been awhile since I was last on.  (If it really matters, anyway.)   I haven't been keeping up with much stuff on HSB in awhile!  But I'd like to get back into the groove on things on here.  What has everyone been doing?  (Hm, maybe I should leave that as a comment to everyone on their blogs instead of in a post.)  Anyway, it's been a bit of a lazy summer here.  Yet, at the same time, things have been going on, I think.

  I'm a bit worn out.  I road my bike up and down the road and got practically dehydrated.  I was mainly showing a friend of our's around.  (He wanted to go down a big hill, so I showed him one.)  But, I think he got worn out worse than me.  (HA!) Once I stepped inside the house, I cooled off and felt better, but at first I felt TERRIBLE!  My legs were achey and sore, and my throat was so dry!!!  I'm so glad that's all over with...*PHEW*  I think my brother Joseph was a bit upset at the fact that we let Evan ride his bike...Not sure though.  (The brakes are broken on it, and it IS a bit dangerous.)  Especially since I decided to go down a HUGE hill. (The one that Joseph actually CRASHED from - there are two rather deep ditches on either side of the hill, and there are also barbed wire fences, and Joseph cut himself up once, from jamming himself into one when his brakes quit on him on the way down.)  Anyway...Again, I'm glad that episode is over.  It is SO hot here!  Terribly hot.  I couldn't BREATHE too well, because it was a choking, scorching heat out.   Perhaps I should go swimming today, to cool off!  I just might do that...

  Alright, I've been on the computer for awhile!!!  I shouldn't SPEND my life on here and make it a life of mine.  (Isn't it so easy to make computer technology your LIFE?  If you get what I mean...)

  God bless,

~Lady Rachel~

P.S. ~ I will try to write more other than what I've been doing, in future posts.  Just wanted to mention that, so that you all can have something to look forward to, next time.  (At least, I HOPE I can write more about other things besides what I've been doing.)

Jul. 8, 2007 - New and Interesting Topics on Priceless Purity!!!!

Hey all!

  It's been so long, but I'm finally updating...Well, a little.  This time it's moreso on the site my friend and I work on, Priceless Purity.  There are some interesting debates on homemaking and marriage going on right now, so if you would like to partake in them, feel free to join!  (www.PricelessPurity.org)

  I've really been earnestly praying that the site will be expanded, and Amanda is going to help Jillian and me create the new domain site.  (It currently just takes you back to our MSN Group one.)

We currently have 62 registered users on the site, and over 100 subscribers to the newsletter. (By the way, we have our newsletter on hold at this time, as we are currently working on our site.)

  Anyway, just wanted to let you ladies know about it.  And remember, our site is for girls of ALL ages.

(Oh, and by the way, we might need some new contributions for the site, so if any girl has anything to contribute, PLEASE send it in to: pricelesspurity@yahoo.com, thank you!!)

Alright, that is all for now.

In Christ,

~Rachel

Jun. 18, 2007 - There...I'm Back again! ;)

Well, sorry for the long absence.  I wasn't supposed to get on the computer for awhile.  I had been getting on so much!  I realized that everytime I got bored, I wanted to get on to find something to do on the computer.   Anyway, my dance performance went well, although at the dress rehearsal, Linze (my dance instructor) told me that they didn't have enough costumes for me to be in the other two dances, but that I would be able to be in the opening scene.  The performance went well, although I don't know how my part actually turned out yet.  (It'll be about 6-8 weeks before the DVD comes out.)  The performance was a interesting twist to Alice in Wonderland.  (It was called "Wonderland: The Hidden Chapters".)

  Dance starts up again on August 20th.  I'll have to wait until then, as I haven't ever been able to go to dance camps or intensives.  (I honestly wish I could, but I doubt I'd be allowed to.)  I'll have to be working really hard this summer, then.

  I'm currently reading "How to be a Lady", and I have to write a report about each chapter.  Alright, I admit.  I used to get REALLY annoyed with those types of books.  (In fact, several on Vision Forum, I used to laugh at...Hehe!)  But they're REALLY great, and speak the truth actually.  I got "So Much More", "Raising Maidens of Virtue", and "Before You Meet Prince Charming" - They're all really good, and I want to read them all at once.  I've been flipping through some, because I just can't help it.  I also can't help sniffing the pages.  (Is it just me, or do any of you like the smell and aroma of freshly printed, and even old library pages, of books?)

  Anyway, I've been working on the Priceless Purity site a lot recently!  Ladies, please check it out and tell me what you think.  I really think we need some good writers for the newsletter or something.  Jillian and I are needing some help with the "Godly Woman" page.  (Can someone write a good article on homemaking?)  You know, that might be a good idea for a contest...Hm, I'll see about that...!!  For some STRANGE reason, I can never get Amanda to write an article.  Every time she's asked, she gets writer's block or something.  (Oh, how I wonder why?)  She's usually into those sorts of things, and I'm surprised she hasn't written anything much yet.  BUT, when she sees this, she'll probably start writing away on something.

 Well, there's so much I suppose I should have written by now!  It's a bit disappointing.  As the days passed, one by one, I kept thinking of things to write, but I wasn't able to.

  GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

~LADY RACHEL~

May. 31, 2007 - ~The Plan~

Well, I don't think Mary and I are going to spend the night at our grandparent's house this time. (Amanda and I are going to spend the night there soon, anyway.)  Plus, Mary doesn't feel ready to spend the night yet. HAHA!  Our grandmother is going to take us to get our hair trimmed, and then to the museum possibly, and out to lunch.  (And maybe somewhere else, I don't know.)

 Well, I think I must go now.  My Mom wanted me to clean up or something.

God Bless,

~Rachel~

A Wrinkle in Time

Eragon

Mary Poppins/Mary Poppins comes back

Young Pioneers

Kingdom's Dawn

Nancy Drew and the Clue in the Crumbling Wall

A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning

Summer of the Monkeys

Jane Eyre

Wuthering Heights

(Those last 5 listed are all Bronte sisters books)

How to be a Lady

Raising Maidens of Virtue

My Mom also bought some nature books as well, for us to use for nature walks and nature studies this summer.

We then ate out at Quizno's!!!  It was really good!  Tomorrow, my grandmother will take Mary and I to get our hair trimmed, and then out to lunch, and we'll probably spend the night at her house.

Well, I shall write more later!

Farewell!

May. 30, 2007 - Well, it's my birthday...

Hello Everybody!

  Well, it's my birthday today...So I guess I am happy...Woohoo!  Right now, there's actually nothing to do yet.  It's 7:56am...*SIGH* Haha!  I don't know why I said what time it was.

  Anyway, I think I'm going to Books-A-Million and Quiznos today!  YAY!  That's all I ever want to do for my birthday, for some reason.  (I guess because I can't really get away with it any other day of the year...)

  I'll be 14 today!  That is such a strange thought.........

Well, I will be going now!

I will probably update later!

FAREWELL & GOD BLESS,

~RACHEL~

  P.S. ~ Can anyone just leave me a comment? Haha!  Thanks!

P.P.S. ~ I'm going to make a post soon on public schools and homeschooling.  Stay posted! (Haha!)

May. 29, 2007 - ~After all, Tomorrow Is Another...Birthday~

Today has been a nice day.  It hasn't been horribly, boiling hot yet, much to my surprise.  (It hasn't rained in awhile, so I would have thought it would be a bit hotter.) Amanda, Joseph, Abigail, Mary, David, Beth & I just got done swimming in the pool.  Since it was a bit later in the day, it was just a bit chilly, but easy to warm up to.

Mary had a good birthday yesterday (28th),  I think.  We bought a cake for her this year, and it still tasted good.  We watched Night at the Museum.  (Our grandparents brought it over.)  It was a funny movie, but I didn't get to see it all the way through on account of ballet practice. (Did I already write that yesterday!?)    She got a yahtzee game (which I still haven't played yet!), and a few model horse toys.  She desperately wants a REAL horse or pony!  I feel bad that we haven't gotten her one yet.  It makes sense, I mean, we have everything just right for a horse!  I think we should get Mary a bike for now, and sign her up for riding lessons. (Haha, I'm just kidding!)

Hmm...Come to think of it, my birthday is tomorrow, and I can't think of anything I want to do other than go to the book store and eat lunch at a comfy Quiznos restauraunt.  (That's honestly what I would love to do every day!)  I'm pretty bored just thinking of what to do, though.  To speak quite frankly, I'm not at all in the mood for my birthday this year.  I'm not too flattered about being 14 either.  Oh well.  It was bound to happen sooner or later.  HAHA I'm just kidding...It's not that much of a drag, I suppose...

  Farewell for now!

God Bless,

~Lady Rachel~

May. 28, 2007 - This makes me SO mad....I need to vent!!!

Alright, I wrote this LONG post, and it didn't go through.  I'm FURIOUS.  UGHHH....Sorry...That is just very maddening to me.  All that time. WASTED.  Oh well...UGH!  Sorry...I'm very upset!  HAHA!  Well, not TOO upset...But aggrivated.  I wrote everything about Six Flags, and my upcoming performance, and Mary's birthday, and it's all GONE...forever!  Oh...Welll....I'll try to make up for it.  I just need to VENT.  I will go on a rampage...!!!!!!!!  I will never forget this!!!  How could this happen!?  I shall never be happy again!

*A FEW MINUTES LATER*

(This is an EDIT)

AHHH!  I'm so happy!!!!!!  I'm SAVED!  The Lord saved my post!!! (HAHA!!!)  It went through...*AHH*

In a few weeks, months, or years, I'll probably look back at how "ungreat" that entire post was, and wish it hadn't been spared.  For now, I will celebrate, by doing my royal duty of unloading the family dish washer.  ONWARD!!!!

May. 28, 2007 - Yall...It's been awhile...!

Hey there!
  I'm still alive yall!  I know, it's been awhile since I've been on here...And wow, SO much has happened.  Let's see...I guess I'll first talk about what I've been doing (though I really don't like talking about myself...HAHA!)

  Okay, SIX FLAGS.  I think that's what I need to talk about first.  Our friends came over to go to Six Flags over Georgia with us - it was WONDERFUL!  The first ride we rode was "The Ninja".  It was REAL fun the first time...I was whoopin' and hollerin' on each ride we rode, except for when my head would be forced down. (Jillian had to pull me back up several times!)  Alright, I'll make a list of everything we rode, (excluding the little rides) and how many times we rode them:  (Haha, this is gonna be kind of funny!)

NOTE: Amanda, my Dad and I were the only ones in my family to go to Six Flags this year.  (Still, it was fun!) Jillian, her dad, and 3 of her brothers came along like last year though.

The Ninja - Twice!  This was the first and last ride we rode, and let me just say that the second time was...Well, not so great.  I got all banged up!!! HAHA!  But I was OK!

The Great America Scream Machine - That was SO fun!!! I LOVED this roller coaster, and yes, it really does make you scream!  (But it's not like very scary or anything...)  We rode this 'un twice!

The Georgia Cyclone - This one was wooden, like the Great American Scream Machine, and it was very loud and bumpy, but it was really thrillin'!  Jill and I had a great time bumpin' up and down the tracks...It was well-worth the ride.

The Georgia Scorcher - We rode this twice, and BOTH times were so awesome!  It felt like a dream!  I really, really had a lot of fun on this one.  AH!  I MISS Six Flags!!!

The Mindbender - Wow, this is a cool rollercoaster!!!  The second time around, my friend Jillian and I rode it in the second seats!  The second time was pretty rough though...

OH, and then I met one of Jillian's friends, Imani!!  She's so awesome, and she came with us on the last big rides we rode on, which were -

The Batman - The line was LONG and we were scorching hot, but fortunately, it was a good ride!  I did sorta' put my head down a bit (which you can't benefit from much positioned like that!) but it was a very "secure" feeling ride.

The Goliath - YES!  This is probably the BEST ride there.  It went about...How high?  I guess around 250 or 275 ft., and it went about 75 mph!  Oh well, it was amazing!  The view was really cool!  Amanda, Imani, Jillian & I all sat in the same row (I sat in between Imani and Jillian).  Our mouths got pretty dry at the end of the ride.  (All that wind, ya' know!)

The coolest part about being on a rollercoaster...Hmm...Is probably NOT being on it!  Well...I take that back...It IS actually pretty fun to ride!  But before, getting all hyped and scared is actually pretty sensational. HAHA!

After all of that commotion, we rode the Ninja and the Great American Scream Machine one more time.  And then we had to say bye to Imani and her family...

  And...Oh yeah, we ate at McDonald's on the way home!

*Just felt like mentionin' that*

  Alright...I'll probably be regretting the way I wrote about Six Flags...In such a zangy way. *POP*  Well, I was just trying to relive the moment, so that explains all the exclamation points "!".

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  While Jillian was here, she gave me a "Daily Light" devotional. (It even had my name engraved on it...Haha!)  It has been a nice thing to have on hand for every morning and evening.
  I wasn't able to get her birthday presents purchased in time () but I did eventually buy her copies of "Sense & Sensibility" and "The Hiding Place"!  (Those are both great reads!)
  Alright, now what else?  OH YES...Today is Mary's birthday!  She turned...Um, 8!!!  Our grandparents came over today, and we had a small birthday party.  (If you can call a family of 10 small!)
  We watched Night At the Museum!  (I only got to see part of it, because I had ballet practice.)  It was pretty funny.  I will have to finish watching it some other time, though, I guess.
  I can't believe that my ballet performance is so soon!  I must warn you though, I'm not going to be in very many parts this year, so I can't really "brag" about anything. (haha!) But still, it'll be a good show!  Lots of people are coming to see it, too.  (Over 1,000 people, I believe!) *Sigh* Next year, I should land better roles and stuff, but it still won't be the same show we're performing this year.  (It's a zangy version of Alice in Wonderland...It's really fascinating, actually...)
  Oh yes...And the 30th is going to be my birthday!  And I'll be 14!!!  Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) I've been blessed with a long-lasting imagination, and sometimes I act pretty immature (not in a BAD way)  so, it'll take me awhile to grow into my age.    *Is proud* Sorry...I couldn't resist writing that. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!  I have to unload the dish washer...OH well...I must brush up on my house keeping skills for...someday!?
Alright, fair well lords and ladies!!  I'll be on my way now...
May. 2, 2007 - What's been goin' on...
Hello!!
  Well...The weather has been really nice recently.  Today, the TOS and the Girlhood Home Companion magazines came in the mail!  My Mom went to go get something at the store, and my Dad was somewhere as well, so us kids were the only ones at home.  I didn't tell Amanda that the magazines had come (well...I just like to be able to read things without people pestering me about their turn to read them...) and so, she didn't know that any of them had come for awhile, until she noticed a manila envelope thingy that had Remembrance Press on the return address.
  OH!!!  Today we swam in the pool.  The water was a tad bit cold, today, but it was still okay.  Amanda and I are waiting on our new Lands' End swim suits to come.  They should be here sometime this week.
  Oh yes - guess what!?  Some close friends of ours are visiting on the 10th, and on the 11th they'll go with us to Six Flags Over Georgia!  Hurray!  I'm so excited!
 Well, Ben is crawling around my legs now, so I must go and make sure he doesn't get closer to the plug and unplug the 'puter.
  God Bless,
~Rachel (And BEN...)~
Apr. 16, 2007 - This weekend
Well, first I guess before I talk about this weekend's plans, I need to just rewind a bit.  I haven't been on in awhile.  My dad went on a fishing trip with his brother and uncle on Thursday, and then my aunt and cousins came in town on Friday.  (They came over all day on Saturday.)  We had a fun weekend...And now, just after recovering from that, we have something else to look forward to on Saturday.  Well, we're going to go to an...What are they called?  A-Day games?  Urgh...I can't remember.  Anyway, so we'll be going to Tuscaloosa, AL then, and I THINK we'll meet our grandparents there, and then visit our grandparents' house later on that day.  (Well, since my grandfather was former university president there, I don't know if we'll be able to meet them there during the A-Day game, because they'll probably be in the press box or something.)  Oh, I think we'll be meeting up with some other friends there, too.  Anyway(s)...OH YEAH...I want to go back to Six Flags over Georgia for HOMESCHOOL DAY...I want some of our friends to come with us...That would be SUPER FUN...AAAHH!  Pleaseeee Lord, let us work somethin' out.
  Well, I better go now...
  GOD BLESS,
~Rachel~
Apr. 2, 2007 - Joseph's Accident
So here I am again...Well, ballet went well tonight.  We're working on our performance that will come out in June.  It's called "Tales from Wonderland: The Hidden Chapters" it's pretty elaborate, actually!  I'm pretty excited about it.
  Tonight we had Popeye's chicken for supper.  It was good.   But now it's making me real thirsty.  Let me go get a drink, hold on...Okay, back!
  Anyway, the title of this post is "Joseph's Accident" so you're probably wondering what happened.  Well, earlier this afternoon, Joseph (my brother) crashed into some barbed wire, and got all cut up.    OUCH.  He's been talking about it being really pain.  He got gashes cut on his chest and side.    I think he's alright now...He'll probably post about it on his blog.
ALRIGHT, GOD BLESS YALL!
Apr. 2, 2007 - What's the Rush?
Hi there, everyone.  Well, I'm just about to go to ballet in a few minutes.  I just decided to make a post while I have the time to.  I got so frustrated with school today, I said, "Ugh...I just don't want to do it, I'm not in the mood to!  I don't understand what I'm reading about!" and my Mom said, "Okay, that's fine.  If you don't understand what you're doing, just wait."  - - - Soooo, I'm planning on doing it tonight, when I'm in a better mood.   (Who says you have to do school at day all the time anyway?)  I think that forcing someone to learn something when they're not ready, or when they don't understand, isn't always the best way to do things.  Today I was just out of sorts and mad about being behind.  But I still have so much time to catch up.    So yeah...What's the rush!?
WELL, I'LL TALK LATER...
GOD BLESS,
~Lady Rachel
