May. 28, 2007 - Yall...It's been awhile...!

Hey there!
  I'm still alive yall!  I know, it's been awhile since I've been on here...And wow, SO much has happened.  Let's see...I guess I'll first talk about what I've been doing (though I really don't like talking about myself...HAHA!)

  Okay, SIX FLAGS.  I think that's what I need to talk about first.  Our friends came over to go to Six Flags over Georgia with us - it was WONDERFUL!  The first ride we rode was "The Ninja".  It was REAL fun the first time...I was whoopin' and hollerin' on each ride we rode, except for when my head would be forced down. (Jillian had to pull me back up several times!)  Alright, I'll make a list of everything we rode, (excluding the little rides) and how many times we rode them:  (Haha, this is gonna be kind of funny!)

NOTE: Amanda, my Dad and I were the only ones in my family to go to Six Flags this year.  (Still, it was fun!) Jillian, her dad, and 3 of her brothers came along like last year though.

The Ninja - Twice!  This was the first and last ride we rode, and let me just say that the second time was...Well, not so great.  I got all banged up!!! HAHA!  But I was OK!

The Great America Scream Machine - That was SO fun!!! I LOVED this roller coaster, and yes, it really does make you scream!  (But it's not like very scary or anything...)  We rode this 'un twice!

The Georgia Cyclone - This one was wooden, like the Great American Scream Machine, and it was very loud and bumpy, but it was really thrillin'!  Jill and I had a great time bumpin' up and down the tracks...It was well-worth the ride.

The Georgia Scorcher - We rode this twice, and BOTH times were so awesome!  It felt like a dream!  I really, really had a lot of fun on this one.  AH!  I MISS Six Flags!!!

The Mindbender - Wow, this is a cool rollercoaster!!!  The second time around, my friend Jillian and I rode it in the second seats!  The second time was pretty rough though...

OH, and then I met one of Jillian's friends, Imani!!  She's so awesome, and she came with us on the last big rides we rode on, which were -

The Batman - The line was LONG and we were scorching hot, but fortunately, it was a good ride!  I did sorta' put my head down a bit (which you can't benefit from much positioned like that!) but it was a very "secure" feeling ride.

The Goliath - YES!  This is probably the BEST ride there.  It went about...How high?  I guess around 250 or 275 ft., and it went about 75 mph!  Oh well, it was amazing!  The view was really cool!  Amanda, Imani, Jillian & I all sat in the same row (I sat in between Imani and Jillian).  Our mouths got pretty dry at the end of the ride.  (All that wind, ya' know!)

The coolest part about being on a rollercoaster...Hmm...Is probably NOT being on it!  Well...I take that back...It IS actually pretty fun to ride!  But before, getting all hyped and scared is actually pretty sensational. HAHA!

After all of that commotion, we rode the Ninja and the Great American Scream Machine one more time.  And then we had to say bye to Imani and her family...

  And...Oh yeah, we ate at McDonald's on the way home!

*Just felt like mentionin' that*

  Alright...I'll probably be regretting the way I wrote about Six Flags...In such a zangy way. *POP*  Well, I was just trying to relive the moment, so that explains all the exclamation points "!".

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  While Jillian was here, she gave me a "Daily Light" devotional. (It even had my name engraved on it...Haha!)  It has been a nice thing to have on hand for every morning and evening.
  I wasn't able to get her birthday presents purchased in time () but I did eventually buy her copies of "Sense & Sensibility" and "The Hiding Place"!  (Those are both great reads!)
  Alright, now what else?  OH YES...Today is Mary's birthday!  She turned...Um, 8!!!  Our grandparents came over today, and we had a small birthday party.  (If you can call a family of 10 small!)
  We watched Night At the Museum!  (I only got to see part of it, because I had ballet practice.)  It was pretty funny.  I will have to finish watching it some other time, though, I guess.
  I can't believe that my ballet performance is so soon!  I must warn you though, I'm not going to be in very many parts this year, so I can't really "brag" about anything. (haha!) But still, it'll be a good show!  Lots of people are coming to see it, too.  (Over 1,000 people, I believe!) *Sigh* Next year, I should land better roles and stuff, but it still won't be the same show we're performing this year.  (It's a zangy version of Alice in Wonderland...It's really fascinating, actually...)
  Oh yes...And the 30th is going to be my birthday!  And I'll be 14!!!  Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) I've been blessed with a long-lasting imagination, and sometimes I act pretty immature (not in a BAD way)  so, it'll take me awhile to grow into my age.    *Is proud* Sorry...I couldn't resist writing that. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!  I have to unload the dish washer...OH well...I must brush up on my house keeping skills for...someday!?
Alright, fair well lords and ladies!!  I'll be on my way now...
~Lady Rachel~
