We were going camping this weekend.
We with our friends, the Kortens and the Grays. They had tent
trailers and we slept in a tent. I was nice and cozy in my
sleeping bag. At the end of the day we had a campfire. My
friends, Rachel and Julia and I skipped together. I learned a new
skipping rhyme. We also played capture the flag and ball tag, we
played barbie together in Julia's van when it was cold out. We
were right by a forrest that we explored. We went on two long
hikes. We hiked on a boardwalk over the marsh. We saw lots
of trees, trillums (which are Ontario's provincial flower), lake, a
stream, went over a large bridge, saw birds. It was lots of
fun. Unfortunately, the weather was windy and rainy and cold. But
we had fun anyway. On Sunday, we gathered around the campfire and
sang worship songs and had a devotion. The best part about
camping was having smores at the campfire.
