Raging Rivers
Well today my family and the Herman family all went to Raging Rivers Water Park. It was fun and the kids really had a blast. I did a few slides, the wave pool and Rebecca and I did the Lazy River...which was hilarious because at first like old women we couldn't get ON the inner tubes...then we missed our exit, got off of our tubes and had to go around again without lying on the tubes because we couldn't get back on them. We laughed so hard my sides ached. It was sooooo busy today and the Lazy River was like bumper cars...while we were lying on the rafts my feet kept hitting someone or the side of the tube would hit someone and then I lost Rebecca for awhile...lolol ...we were constantly saying "I'm Sorry..oopsss.....Sorry"...hehe....finally when we got back together again we hung on to each others rafts to stay together...sheesh...talk about your old broads! grin. The rest of the time I hung out at the kiddie pool with Beck so she wasn't alone with her 2 year old and 6 week old. Mike and Kort took off with the other four and did all the slides gobs of times. We are all exhausted and ready to sleep! Mike got sunburned on his back and Paige's face is a little red...but this time I did use sunscreen because I got burned in the middle of the summer REALLY bad...Raging Rivers is built right next to the Mississippi River on the side of the bluffs...so it's constant climbing up and up...my heart did fine...no flutters...diet may be helping already! Okay, I'm outta here to go watch a movie...Mike picked out "The Soloist" with Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx...looks really good! Gearing up for Round 2 of water fun tomorrow!!
