I've been keeping up with a fairly select set of friends by email for about a year now, and I'm expanding it to a Yahoo!Group newsletter. If you want to join, click here and go for it. About once a month, I write a few lines on such topics as sustainable living (good stewardship), beekeeping, organic growing, homeschooling, and, um, stuff.

If you're studying anything to do with botany, agricultural systems, home business, etc., this will give you an opportunity to watch our Community Supported Agriculture project in action. Basically, we grow organic vegetables, box them up and deliver them to the customers we're keeping in touch with via the newsletter. Kinda like opening up a machine and watching the gears turn.

I also jaw a bit about unschooling, so if you're curious how that works, there's some of that in there too. I try not to reproduce stuff from the blogs, so it's not likely to show up here or at the other one. That would be silly, in my mind.

January will feature an article called "Homesteading Heritage," explaining how my ancestors established the family farm (they were real homesteaders) and the cultural legacy that exists in our community. I'm also trying to get off my high-expectations hobby horse with the kids' learning, and giving my customers reasons to refer more people to the business.
