Okay, I think I got it.

If you're up late, bored to tears, and/or your family wouldn't appreciate you tackling major home reno projects at this hour a la TC, give this link a try:

www.lifeledlearning.lazycreek.net

And for goodness' sakes please let me know if it doesn't work!!!

If it does work, you should shortly find yourself facing an overview of my thoughts on unschooling, along with (lower down) links to ideas for unschooling in several different subject areas. I also did ramble on Christian unschooling specifically, because it seems to be an area of debate as to whether it's a Godly idea, whether it fits with Scripture or not, and just plain whether it really produces a Christian life.

On this topic, Spazzerific had some fun this evening learning how to create graphics for his own artwork page (arriving sometime this year... I hope). He spent some time mucking about with the program, while I took a rather important and long-awaited phone call. We haven't talked to this particular friend since our Yellowstone trip, so it was good to catch up. I promptly had to call Dave and go, "Nyaah! You missed out!"

Thanks for this link. I really enjoyed the page you had on Christian Unschooling. I loved the quote from Dana (one of my personal blog favorites), "Each subject area is a method of reasoning to analyze the world around us. We strive to learn the vocabulary of the subject, its history and its purpose. We practice using the subject area to advance our own knowledge."

I think that this in an important concept in biblical interpretation. Striving to understand the original Greek and Hebrew words, conjugating verbs and understanding their tense and aspect, placing the scripture in historical context and... practicing interpretation by frequent contact with the Word.

Thanks for putting this together. Blessings ~
