SuperDave still managed to make it look decent, although he politely vetoed my crazy plan to trace the profile of the crown molding onto the door trim and cut it to a snug fit.

We're done! As done as we're going to be till we get the actual bedroom room done, and this becomes an office. I nearly didn't let the kid in there, except that he's been sleeping on the couch rather than share a room with his little brother, and I was sick of him trying to chase everyone else out of "his" rec room like a territorial badger.
