Aha, it's the article with the survey that puts a callous, pragmatic North American hyper-capitalistic slant on wife-and-motherhood! Yay, CNN. That's what mothers are worth. (Hat Tip: Ladies Against Feminism.) But I still say if they really wanted to get it right, they'd have to include the fee schedule for a high-end sex worker. (Sorry, kids, cover your eyes, I'm being sarcastic about cultural issues again.)

I'm going to take up Lazy Classical (who I visited because I like the name) on the 7 things tag. Seven random things about me:

1. I never planned to be a wife or a mother.

2. I definitely never planned to live in the country.

3. I made a very special point of planning never to live in the countryside where I came from.

4. I never planned to work with livestock again, after the Great Horse Debacle of the Early Nineties.

5. I never thought I'd be interested in dirt, what it's made of, or how to make it better.

6. I never, ever, ever planned to be Christian or traditional in any way.

7. So much for all my big plans.
