Brandy day-10

DAY 10
Brandy did even better today then she did last time I took her on a trail ride, first I was gonna meet my dad and sisters up the rode a little ways, and Sam wasn’t riding with us today, so Brandy was gonna have to walk away from her herd by herself with out another horse with her. It was starting to get a little stormy but I was going to ride a little ways and hopefully we wouldn’t get wet, she walked right along like she’d been doing it all her life in the stormy weather, and without another horse around. I did turn around when it started raining though but Brandy waited until I turned her around to even go back. We waited until the rain was over and then ended up meeting my dad and sisters and started the ride. We ran quite a bit today and I found out she’s got more speed under her than I thought, she’s got a lot more endurance than she did last time I rode her out on a trail too. I’m gonna ask Sam to ride her next to see if she’s still acts good and if she does she’s a finished broken horse.

Hey there!
I see you havent posted in awhile, But I found your blog on random blogger...I never knew that you guys were on here...I have a horse that I just got last month...she is a beautiful Quarter Horse Mare...She is 3 years old. The Lady that had her before I did trained her VERY well...but I have the privlage of training her to carry a rider (Yay!)
She accepts the bit, saddle, and pressure, and weight on both sides of the saddle...she stands still for everything...She is great...
I was able to teach her that weight is not a bad thing...My friend and I are training her...
I was going to work with her over the weekend, but then I was riding another horse on Friday, and I asked for a canter, and got distracted and when he went into the canter I wasnt ready for the change and fell off...But I crushed the siatic nerve in my leg, and it takes up to 3 weeks for it to heal...so right now I am on crutches.
But oh well, no horse rider can say they have ridden till they have fallen off!
Anyway, I will be comming over here for tips!
Keep up the good work!
