Jun. 6, 2006 - Let's Talk About Bcboy
Hello it's legoman again. I wanted to talk about how I started blogging. I started my blogging when I herd about bcboy's blog site. We started in the same private school for the first two years together , bcboy and I are now home school buddies. We like to play superhero games together and talk a lot . We are going camping this weekend at the lake together. We both are bringing our bikes because the camp ground has nice smooth pavement all over. Apr. 28, 2006 - Adventure in Drumheller.
Drumheller is an awesome place. They have dinosaur figures everywhere hiding in
some of the strangest places. I liked the hoodoos a lot. They are large pillars of
rock, their best description is hoodoo. My favourite place was the museum. When
you come in, the first thing you see is a model of the earth with small light bulbs for stars. My favourite spot was the "Prehistoric Fish" room because it looked like you were standing on water. My brother was more than fooled, he took little tiny squirrel steps whining as he went. Mum was nice and instead of laughing she picked him up and carried him. Drumheller's view of science is evolution. I personally looked at the displays from a creationist view. |

Apr. 24, 2006 - The Inside Scoop On Colour.
Light rays have no colour, neither do the objects you see. Colour is seen when a photon hits a specific type of cell in the eye called a cone. A red truck looks red because it absorbs all photons except red. The red photons reflect off of the truck into the eye where red cones signal the brain "red truck". We see black because all colours are absorbed by a surface, therefore, no colour is seen. All colours together make white light, so therefore our eyes see white because all photons reflect from a surface to our eyes.Black is hotter than white because absorbed photons create heat. |
