4th of July Weekend at Lake Chelan

Posted in Family Fun

There is a walking trail behind my aunt and uncle's house, tucked up in some woods.  DH, 'R', and I went for a hike back there.

Can you see the deer?

One of my favorite fellas :)

Two of my favorite fellas...

Gorgeous...

A Chelan lizard. gecko? salamander? newt? I'll stick with lizard for now...

Back at the house, good times in, and on, the lake!
'A', my brother Devin, and niece KK...

Uncle Devin taught 'A' and 'R' how to snorkel...

Boat ride with Uncl Art!

Boys town with DH, Uncle Art, Cousin Charles (who is going to be a Daddy!), and Brother Devin...

I love this picture of my niece, KK. She cleans up so nice, but that tomboy streak is never far away!

'A' fishing...

Every year for the 4th of July, we have a theme party.  The theme is a state.  This year, we did 'Hawaii', in memory of my grandmother who passed away in January.  She loved going to Hawaii and went often.
This is a gorgeous Hawaiian bouquet that my aunt had shipped over from a small shop outside of Hana, Maui.  We discovered this place when we had a "girl's weekend" in January.

Family time...

Hey Leigh!
Looks like some fun times! :) Beautiful area! You've got some beautiful shots there- that one of your DH with one of your boys on his shoulders in front of the barn needs to be blown up BIG! It's beautiful! and that group shot (last one) is awesome!!!!!
