Tricks of the Trade
In 1920, two girls from England pulled off one of the biggest photographic hoaxes in history. They said that they had been visited by fairies and had pictures to prove it. Actually, they had taken the photos after cutting out fairy figures and securing them to the earth with hatpins. the Cottingley fairies" fooled many experts-including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of the Sherlock Holmes stories. Few of that time believed young girls could be so crafty with a camera.
Wasn't that a good story? Infact they even made a Documentary/Movie about it. Here's the real picture:
