TOS staff came up for a visit
Mrs. Tirado, Mrs. Carter, Mrs. and Mr. Almon, Miss Sarah, Mrs. Wuehler and the Price family all came up. Also Miss Janella! And the Marcums too although they are not staff, but they do a lot with TOS.
The First day (Friday) in the morning, Mrs. Tirado, Mrs. Carter, and Miss Sarah came.
Later Mr. and Mrs. Almon came in the afternoon. All the ladies worked and talked until dinner time.
Paul made the salad, and Mom made meat loaf, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn and some fizzy apple cider.
It was really good!
Then later that night, Dad and Mom (with Luke and Julia) went to go pick up Mrs. Wuehler at the airport in Knoxville. They got back around 12:30 AM.
Mrs. Wuehler was hungry. So mom got her some dinner.
In the morning, Paulie made and served pancakes. Everyone liked them.
That afternoon, Mr. Marcum, Dad and I went to Best Buy to get some tapes for the camera. When we got back the Prices had already come. Everybody was talking while Mom, Mrs. Tirado and I were making dinner. We made Parmesan Chicken, spaghetti, homemade alfredo sauce, homemade red sauce, bread, spinach casserole (Mrs. Estabrooks' recipe) and soda and juices. The Almons had to leave after dinner. After dinner, Dad and Luke went to go pick up Miss Janella. When they got back, Mom served her some food. All of this went from early Friday til early Monday by the way. We had blow up beds everywhere!!
Luke's B-day is the 21st of November. But we had his party Sat night since so many people were here. Dad and I make a triple chocolate cake. It was good! We sang happy birthday to him. We had rocky road and raspberry icecream.
A little later the Prices had to leave. The adults and Mom were talking business for awhile. Then Mrs. Tirado, Mrs. Carter, and Miss Sarah needed to leave. Miss Janella and Mrs. Wuehler were the only ones here. That morning, Mom made breakfast. Miss Janella had to leave because she had to teach early
that morning. We decided to show Mrs. Wuehler Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. It' was a beautiful drive. We saw a big black bear. Everyone pulled their cars over to get out and look. The bear hit a tree with his paw to scare us all away.
We all got out besides Mom and Mrs. Wuehler. I got a picture of the bear. It wasn't really that good of a picture because the lighting was bad. We got back to the house around 8:00pm. We were all starving.
Mrs. Wuehler had to leave the next morning (Monday) at 6:00am if she wanted to catch the plane.
Mom, Dad, Luke, and Julia took her to the airport.
They got back around 11:00am. Dad and Luke left about an hour ago to go pick up more racks. Paulie, Mom, Julie and I watched educational programs all day; Mom was tired!
Here are some pics!

See the eyes? The lighting was pretty bad. Cool though to see a real live bear up close.

TOS meetings went on all weekend and were GREAT.

Here is the cake Dad and I made together for Lukey. Everyone really liked it a lot. By the way, while everyone was here, Mom got ANOTHER surprise baby shower. Paulie will blog about it soon - he took a video of it.

Mom makes Paulie do a lot of the cooking and food stuff now. She just tells him how to cook or fix it and he does. He's actually a great cook. One of the last dinners we had with the Marcums, Paulie cooked practically the whole meal.

Mr. Marcum is trying to pretend he's serious or something. He must have something up his sleeve. He was here all weekend too. We love them.
Well, until next time, thanks for joining me today.

Ah, I see a camera in Mr. Marcum's right hand. He's trying to sneak a picture of you.
Hahaha...
Good cook? Yeah I can make a mean PB&J, huh?

Hi Levi! You really made my stay at your house extra special. You were always asking if there was anything I needed or if I wanted coffee and you were so eager to serve. What a blessing! I enjoyed talking to you about tomahawks and watching you fall off the wall (although that was really kind of scary!) :)
I had a wonderful time and the food was absolutely delicious. I am dreaming about parmesan chicken!!
God bless you Levi!

"Hey, thanks for commenting on my blog." I never have the chance to say that to you! LOL jk...
You did????? Well, bravo!
Yes, I see you posted some pictures. I like the one of Paulie grating carrots into a *salad* bowl??? I think that is what it is.
That's neat that Auntie got *ANOTHER* baby shower. I want to give her one, even if she does know about it!
it's all right. When there is an Anon comment for me, I usually figure it's you. I only get them randomly, anyways, so it doesn't matter! LOL
Well, don't load more than one page at a time. Don't you have a library near you guys? I am at the library right now with Amanda and Jocelyn, blogging! LOL
Thank you for letting me know!
Ok, I did NOT link you. I don't know what you are talking about, Levi! What are you talking about? were you talking to someone else? Explain yourself!
Well, have a good day Lil' Bro,
Rachel

Wow, you certainly did have a lot of people over. Glad you all had a good time. I wish we lived closer. I am so jealous!
The bear picture is neat. I can see the eyes. And, Lukey's cake look a little... flaming? lol I hope he had a good time for his birthday, even though it's early. I knew his birthday was the 15th...we'll have to get him something. I don't suppose he's hurting for a chessboard? lol
And, that's a great picture of Paulie's beautiful, lovely, Irish hat, isn't it? The hat is really what you were taking the picture of, wasn't it? I found the exact hat in a National Geographic magazine. Same brand, but different colours as "every hat is never the same". You know it's called a tweed hat in Ireland? I'll hafta tell him. ; )
Oh ok, sorry, I should say something about Paulie, huh? Ok, um, well, I am thrilled that he is able to cook. The only people (boys) that know how to cook, known to me, are Paulie and Eric. I don't think I know anyone else. Of course I don't know anyone at all! lol
And say hello to Mr. Marcum for me. I wonder why he was trying to be so serious... hmmm *thinks hard*. Oh maybe because he's taking your picture. lol ;P
Alright, anyway, thanks for letting me know your favourite colours(S). lol I will see what I can come up with.
Big sis,
Jocelyn
