Ok, Thursday morning Dad woke us up because we were going to the Dixons’, the Brauns’, and to a presidentential thing - hearing some of the people who might become the president make speeches. Mitt Romney, John McCain and Duncan Hunter were there and gave talks.

So, we packed up the trailer and started for the Dixons’ house. We stopped off at Starbucks, Hardees, and Wal-mart. We arrived at their house at 10:30PM. We unpacked the trailer and talked for a while. Amanda made some REALLY good cookie batter and then she had Rachel bake it up. About 5 minutes later, I asked her to take them out so we could try them. She said that they were WAY too gooey. I said that I liked them gooey. So she took them out and we tried them. She didn’t really care for them so she put them back in the oven. By this time, Mom, Dad, Luke and Julia had gone to bed. At 4:00AM, Joci wanted to watch a movie. (At this time Paul and Amanda were trying to fix Amanda’s blog) I asked Joci if she wanted to stay up the whole night, and she said
“sure”. So, about ten minutes into the movie she started to fall asleep. I said “you can’t fall asleep, Joci - we’re almost there!” She said “no, I’m tired.” I said ok, fine. So, I finished the movie and at 5:30AM Paulie went to bed. So, I decided to stay up and keep my end of the deal. LOL! JK! Amanda and I were the only ones up so she decided to stay up too.  She was on the computer fixing her blog. When you go to her blog it just leads to Shattering Windows.com. So, they had to delete it. Bummersville! But it’s up now. Good thing she always saves her entries. Everyone got up around 8:00AM. I decided to rest on the chair, but I fell asleep. When I woke up, Rachel told me that I was asleep for 15 minutes. For breakfast Dad and Joci made turkey bacon and some killer eggs!

After breakfast we talked for a while, packed the car and than we had to leave. We said goodbye and gave hugs. Mom told us to get in the van and we pulled out the driveway. We left at 12:00PM.

Hopefully we will meet again. I had SO much FUN with you guys!!!

Ok, than we headed up to Michigan; I slept the WHOLE 5 hours up there!

It was GREAT!!!! We arrived at the Brauns’ house (Spunkyhomeschool) around 7:00PM. WE WERE TOO LATE!!! We couldn’t go ice skating. They were closing and if we did go we would only get about 30 minutes. That means we could have stayed at the Dixons’ house longer!

We had some really good stew that Mrs. Braun made! The next day we went to this thing where John McCain and Mitt Romney were speaking. So, afterwards we had to head home. We said goodbye and got in the car at about 5:00PM. And got home at like 1:00AM.
