I'm not sure how I found myself in that basement to begin with.  The nights have been cold, so I was looking for a warm spot to spend the winter.  There seemed to be enough food there, so I was all set to settle in until Spring.

I should have waited until after dark to explore, but I was too curious.  The Tall Man found me.  He hollered and his wife came running with a Mason jar.  Captured!

The Tall Man put a baggie over the jar and a tight rubber band sealed the deal.  He was kind enough to pop some holes in the top.  They weren't big enough for me to squeeze through, though.  I tried.

My jar was placed on a desk and The Tall Man called his daughter.  He called me a "homeschool project" and agreed to give me away.  Well, that's gratitude.  I come to live in the Man's basement to eat the bugs and he gets rid of me.  Harumph!
