Fish Juice

My 2 oldest children are taking Omega 3's, fish oil capsules, and they LOVE them!   My daughter named them "fish juice" and they beg for them.  I'm sure they'll grow out of that soon enough though! LOL.

We're taking them b/c they were recommended to me by my son's speech therapist.  I keep reading about the dramatic results of the kids who are taking Omega 3's too.  In the book The Late Talker they recommend 148 mg of EPA, 99 mg of DHA, 180 mg of borage oil with 40 mg GLA.  They've seen the best results in apraxic children with these daily amounts.  It's even good for children with autism as well.

Our results??  AMAZING!!  His speech has just blossomed and even the family is noticing.  He's been taking them for about a month and I'm truly blown away by the difference.  I just want to say how thankful I am for fish juice!  It gave my son a voice!  He has always talked a lot but it has been very hard to understand him.  And now, for the most part, I can grasp what he's trying to say.  It makes me cry to think about all his talking and no one understanding him.  I just can't think about all the things he's needed in the past or his fears that I dismissed b/c I couldn't understand him - it hurts so much.  But I'm so thankful for the joy and sense of accomplishment God's given him after all his frustrations.
