I'm still doing Josephines challange that I wrote about yesterday.  So, I was listening to the radio this morning and heard a song by Shania Twain that described our marriage almost perfectly.  The song is Still the One.  It talks about how this couple married despite everyone saying it would never last.  And how much they would have missed if they had actually listened to them.  And that describes us.  When we first started talking marriage I was 17 and Anthony was 19.  My entire family, all my friends said we would never make it and we would divorce before the first year was up.  Then when we made that one it was the 2nd, then the 3rd, then by the 5th year and finally they said by the 10th year anniversary we would be divorced.  Other than one incident, we have been together ever since and just as happy as can be.  When we made the 10 year anniversary the comment had pretty much ceased.  I guess they all realized that we were together for the long haul.  And like the song, there's so much we would have missed.  Yes we would have missed all the heartache and the pain, but we would have missed so much more than that.  We would have missed all the love and fun and the knowledge that we can stand strong against all odds.  That we are meant to be together.  We would have missed 12 years of children, and joy from watching them grow up.  We would have missed watching each other grow in the Lord.  We would never have known that we can do anything together.So without more comments here are the lyrics to the song that describes us so much!
