Our song

This is the song that hubby and I chose as our song when we first got married.  this is my ringtone for when he calls.  Anthony's is the only number that plays that song.

The Keeper Of The Stars Lyrics

Artist: Tracy Byrd
Album: Keepers

It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew
Now I just can't believe you're in my life
Heaven's smilin' down on me
As I look at you tonight

I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

Soft moonlight on your face oh how you shine
It takes my breath away
Just to look into your eyes
I know I don't deserve a treasure like you
There really are no words
To show my gratitude

So I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

Hey,
Elgin and my special song was, "I Got You Babe" by Sonny & Cher. Our children made up a slide show of special pictures of Elgin and I and they had it playing at his funeral service. Even now, when I call my daughter's cell phone, "I Got You Babe" plays so she knows that it's me calling her. Elgin had a cassette tape that he carried in his truck and every time he'd come home and drive up in the driveway he'd have that song blaring from the speakers. At this time it's almost impossible for me to listen to that song, although it will always be "Our Song".
Love to you and yours,
Josephine

The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved.
