Mission Accomplished

Glory to God, as much as I enjoy writing and all things related to writing, I'm excited to say that crunch time is almost at an end. I finished all the revisions for my publisher and today I finished edits on a book for a first time author, Micca Campbell. You can check her out here. I can't reveal much about her book yet, but I can say from the bottom of my heart, I believe it will be a bestseller. I have so enjoyed going through this whole process with her and sharing prayers and tears and fears and faith and encouragement and just getting to know her. But I think I speak for both of us when I say, "Thank God the first draft is done!"

I have one speaking engagement Thursday night and then I can officially say that for the moment crunch time is over. I can't wait to kick off my shoes and sit in the recliner watching movies with my family. I can't wait to get back in my walking routine with my friend, Melissa. I'm even looking forward to scrubbing a toilet or two and catching up on ironing. Most of all, I'm looking forward to sleeping in a few times and hanging with my family and God. Accomplishment feels good, but so does rest!
