I came across psalm 23 today, and as i started to read it i felt so comforted. It's a very familar scripture i remember reading when i was younger, reading it today, reminded me of how much God cares. He is there with us during our darkest momments. so i have now memorized it, i can't stop saying it so i am going to write it out.
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHARD I SHALL NOT WANT.HE MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES.HE LEADETH ME BESIDE THE STILL WATERS. HE RESTORETH MY SOUL. HE LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE. YEA, THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH I WILL FEAR NO EVIL. FOR THOU ART WITH ME. THY ROD AND THY STAFF THEY COMFORT ME. THOU PREPAREST A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MINE ENEMIES. THOU ANOINTEST MY HEAD WITH OIL. MY CUP RUNNETH OVER. SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE AND I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER. 
I haven't done much today, however, i had a nice talk with sally :) i just LOVE talking with her. she is a beautiful person, and i also had a lovely talk with frances smith. I love her so much! and Jessica, she made my day. i missed her. even though i didn't do much today, (the day isn't over..) God has reminded me of His love. He has enriched my life, given me dear friends, has been patient with me, forgiving, and has taken away my anxities. I've been enjoying my time with Him. He has been teaching me more about being a godly wife. it's impossible to express all that he's doing in me, but i am going to yield my own will and opinons (can't spell) of what i want and what i think is best at His feet, and let Him use and teach me. I am going to be obediant. He knows whats best for me. He is going to protect me, and i have no need to be afraid. i won't anymore!!!!

this week has been somewhat stressful, however, the days have been gorgous! last night someone had been barbecuing, and made the air have a nice aroma. i love that smell. anyways, i have made myself a schedule that i am trying my best to stick by. but these last 3 days, i have fallen behind. i didn't do my excersice yesterday, i did the day before, and i really need to do it today. this is the first thing i do when i wake up, but i have been sleeping in and getting behind. i hate being slothful. i am so good at it. on a brighter note, i weighed myself a few days ago and i am at 139! thats a total of 7 pound loss. thats exciting. and the cats are funny, they tease each other and play chase. there a hoot! someday this week i am going to go swimming at our pool. the weathers perfect. that would be a fun and different way of excersing. i'm becoming burnt out, i think i need to change it up a bit... :) well, whoever reads this i really hope you have a special time with God today. take a walk with Him, tell Him how you are, pick up the bible and let Him teach you and show you how He loves you.
we got Jasper last night! he did really well in the car, meowed a few times and he would look out the windows, and once he got on sam's lap while he was driving, and stood on his lap and placed his paws on the steering wheel! lol. he layed on his lap and under by his feet, most of the time. no throw up, no poop! and he has settled nicely here. our other cat charolette, doesn't know what to think of jasper.. she is being careful, and she hasn't attacked him at all, has even been somewhat playful. i think that they are going to be good friends! I love having jasper! fits right in. he has the same temperment as charolette, and he is a character. i think he will be more friendly around other people. charolette, is only affectionate with us. which i like. :) i got his paper work, and he is 24months, a simase mix, and weighs 10 pounds. and the vet noted that he was very handsome. :)
this weekend has been fun :) yesterday, i got a call from an old friend i haven't seen in a year, and i spent the day with her and some other girls and later met up with another old friend and caught up on things going on in our lives. i had a nice time. it was good to see them. anyways, today as i am reading my devotional, i came accross a saying about repentance from charles spurgeon. it moved me, and i want to share it with all of you. he says... 
True repentance has a distinct and constant reference to the Lord Jesus Christ. If you repent of sin without looking to Christ, away with your repentance. If you are so lamenting your sin as to forget the Savior, you have a need to begin all this work over again. Whenever we repent of sin, we must have one eye upon sin and another upon the cross; or, better still, let us have both eyes upon Christ, seeing our sin punished in him, and by no means let us look at sin except as we look at Jesus. A man may hate sin just as a murder hates the gallows but this does not prove repentance if I hate sin because of the punishment, I have not repented of sin; I merely regret that God is just.
But if I can see sin as an offense against Jesus Christ, and loathe myself because I have wounded him, then I have a true brokenness of heart. If I see the Savior and believe that those thorns upon his head were put there by my sinful words; if I believe that those wounds in his heart were made by my heart-sins; if I believe that those wounds in his feet were made by my wandering steps, and that the wounds in his hands were made by my sinful deeds, then I repent after a right fashion. Only under the cross can you repent. Repentance elsewhere is remorse, which clings to the sin and only dreads the punishment. Let us then seek, under God, to have a hatred of sin caused by a sight of Christ's love.
something to ponder and chew on.. this one is from matthew henry about the Passover Lamb..It was to be eaten with bitter herbs in remembrance of the bitterness of their bondage in Egypt. We must feed upon Christ with sorrow and brokenness of heart, in remembrance of sin; this will give an admirable relish to the lamb. Christ will be sweet to us if sin be bitter.
today has been nice. :) i am finally beginning to get on a schedule. i woke up at 8 this morning! AND i went to bed on time. at midnight. finally! thank the Lord. as i write though i am so sleepy. 
a nap, just 15 min's sounds really nice. but no i can't.. i got to get myself on a good sleeping schedule. anyways, i am getting things done, really enjoying cooking. i am getting better. sam's actually eating good food, and not overcooked, burnt food. lol. Lordwilling, today sam and i are suppose to get our second cat, Jasper! and if not today defiently this weekend. i can't wait! being home everyday i thought would be easy, but it really isn't. it's easy to get lazy, and dwell on things, get depressed. however, God has been my delight, and I have been enjoying my time with Sam, talking to you all, and being a wife. whats happening!!! lol. God is so good.
There have been so many of you praying for me, and it really has meant alot. I have been having a really nice week, and sweet time with God, and i just want to send out a big thank you for all of you dear friends. I love you all very much. *HUGS*

this is my first entry :) it's beautiful outside today. I need to spend more time out there enjoying the summer. I haven't done much today. made sam lunch and yep thats about it :) pretty productive ha. he and a friend are ging to red bluff to get some rock climning done. I am going to pick up and finish what i should have done earlier... the dishes. and maybe excersice later? will see.
