A Beautiful Calling

Aug. 22, 2007

A happy boy!

The children were outside playing, so I asked them if they would check and see if there were any ripe tomatoes, or cucumbers and zucchinis that needed picking.  A short time later I hear Benjamin coming up the stairs.  He comes running over to me just beaming.  He was so happy to be bringing in a tomato, fresh from the garden to mommy.   Here he is....    (He is wet from playing outside)

A precious little boy!!

is just too cute! His sweet smile is infectious! And he really does look awful proud of his produce! All your canned goods look scrumptious and as always, I'm wishing we lived closer. Although, this time I'm wishing it because I know you'd share some of your canned bounty if we were near neighbors. :)

Just checkin' with all my blog friends. You've been busy! I don't know how you do all you do.
You're lucky that you got the tomato, if it had been
Little Monkey he would have eaten it before he got to the house! =)

He looks so happy! I can't wait until next year when I can plant a garden with my two girls.

He is a real sweetie! :) Our baby for a few more weeks. :)

Tammy, the only haircut he has had is a trim at the back, I just had to cut off his curls. The rest is still not long enough to cut or very thick yet.

Yes, Kasey, I wish we lived closer too and of course I would share with you. :) You could even come and help me. :)

The children have really enjoyed the garden this summer. They have also enjoyed finding all the spiders, even naming them all and other bugs.

Man, I'd have a big ole smile like that if I had a cool tomato like that in my hand too! Woe, how awesome is that! Yummy! I bet that would make a good tomato pie! Can you tell I'm Southern?! LOL

Christi
