A Beautiful Calling

Dumping of Snow

We had a major dumping of snow this past weekend!!  I thought I would share some snow pictures.

Sabbath afternoon...
Here is a look out our front door.  It looked like this all day, it was quite the snow storm!  I was glad we didn't have to go out.  We had a pleasant day in our cozy home.

This was taken yesterday morning, by then it had stopped snowing.  It was so pretty, all the white snow, plus the sunshine. This is our backyard....

A large drift!

Yesterday afternoon and also this afternoon the children and I went sledding.  It was fun!

Playing in the snow....

Having fun throwing snow around....

This snow won't be here long, come Thursday we are suppose to have rain coming our way.
It has been quite a strange winter, I must say....

I was just looking at the fun photos of your children out in the snow. My kids were enjoying the snow in our area until it started getting icy. Now they refuse to go out since there really isn't anything to do, or so they say. They could go sledding(we have a small hill) but they say no. Oh well here's hoping spring finally arrives.

Our winter has been rather mild to say the least. We've had a few ice storms, and a couple of inches and that was it.
I was some snowwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

We're in PA (Pennsylvania, USA), in a spot that doesn't get a lot of snow! Most winters we get a few good storms, not this winter!
