A Beautiful Calling

Mount Iron!

Posted in Homemaking
Yesterday, I decided that I must tackle Mount Iron.    So up came the ironing board, iron and all the clothes that needed ironing.  While my oldest was sitting at the table doing math, I was able to bring the "mountain" down, piece by piece and encourage my daughter along in her math at the same time.   Worked well and by lunch time I had 3/4 of the pile done.  Today, I finished up the remaing pieces.  It feels good to have that done, I know I have said this before, but I do hope to stay on top of it this time.....

Haha! I have one of those obstacles! It's usually cleaning out my cupboards. Glad you were able to get it done.

Ironing is hard for me to keep up with, too! One thing that has helped a little is to find a place to set up the board and iron all the time. I have it up and ready to go in my sewing area upstairs... so when I pass the board, it reminds me to do 15 minutes of ironing during naptime. Doesn't always work, but it's helpful!

Yes, I do have my ironing board set up in my laundry/sewing room all the time. This time I brought it upstairs, so that I could help my daughter with her math and get my ironing down at the same time. :)

Thanks for stopping by! :)
