Why can't I ever just take a break with no worries?

I always have plans to take breaks from school but when I do it really bugs me! lol I just itch to do more to get ahead again. I love being ahead of schedule. I think I thrive on it.

I got my Math U See blocks for Christmas. I am so excited!!! I can't wait to order her primer stuff. I am making myself wait because I plan on it being the K stuff. She has enough for now. I have to limit or I would be overwelming her.

My mom also got me a Gift Certificate to Sonlight. That was really cool of her.

I got some Pampered Chef kids things and recipe book. I love to cook with Alyssa and ... Tristan is ok to cook with, so this is a great gift.

thanks for visiting my blog site. It was a pleasant surprise to check in today and see a new friend! What a wonderful season of life you are in right now! I must say, however, that I love each stage and season. I have used Sonlight for years now along with drawing from places like Veritas Press for a more classical approach. I've used Teach Your Child... for four out of five children. It's worked well for us. I really can't complain. I've heard the concerns, but the bottom line is that you need to try it and see if it works for your little ones.

well, I look forward to getting to know you better. I'm going to add you to my friend's list so that I can remember to check in with you on a regular basis.

That's wonderful - cooking with your kids. I bet they have a fun time! I don't really like to cook with the Littles... I guess that's a mommy thing - maybe I'll like it better when I have mine own kids.
