Beginning Our Journey

Does anyone know of anywhere to get free spanish ideas for K?

Posted in Resources
Ok I dont want to go all out with curriculum because I have spent WAY WAY WAY too much money for K as it is. We are talking way too much. But I would like to do some spanish in our lessons. Like a word here or there.

Watching Dora and other shows is not helpful because I know the words and Alyssa hears them wrong then is demanding that I am the one saying them wrong.

Does anyone know of any online FREE places I can find Spanish worksheets or just a good idea of how to add in a few Spanish lessons. I dont remember any words - like how to spell them so I would like to have it spelled out for me.

I am thinking One through Ten (she already does know these), colors, Months, days of the week (I need to teach her the ENGLISH way for those also) but after that I am drawing a blank.

I also want to touch on sign language. We will be doing letter of the week signs. And we will see from there out.

Ok, all suggestions appreciated.

Hi!

I find lots of ideas for free by just googling what I want. You might try that. I teach 5 year olds at my church and find lots of stuff at dltkkids.com. Hope this helps! Mary

For some reason I thought you could get a free sampler from Rosetta Stone that might give you some basics. Also, maybe check out the library to see if they have any spanish tapes. I know I got one on German last Christmas when I was working on my German accent for a Christmas play. (I'm a dork and I know it)
