Beginning Our Journey

Oct. 20, 2007

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR MY LITTLE BOY

We are in Children's Hospital where my son was just found to have Leukemia (a.l.l). We are just beside ourselves.

Oh and chubby me, I cannot diet here. The only food to eat is out. Blah

I don't know you and have not seen your blog before, but God drew me here tonight. I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. My son is three years old and your son reminds me of him so much. The same haircut. I have already prayed for your son. I will continue to do so. Please know that you are not alone. Your Heavenly Father knows you and knows what you need and will not leave you or your precious little boy. I pray He gives you and your family comfort, peace, and strength. He is the ultimate healer. Please keep posting updates on your blog and I will continue to check in and keep praying!! God bless you.

Linda, you guys have all been in my prayers since last night (Friday). Thanks for the update here and on the board. My heart aches for you as I sit here with tears in my eyes.
May you feel the presence of our almighty Father in Heaven and may He comfort you, Justin, and the kids during this time. His love for you is so great....and His love for Tristan is so much more than even YOUR love for Tristan...isn't that amazing?

We are praying for you, and my kids are really taking this to heart! If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Oh, and if there is a Mickey D's near there, try their salads. They are pretty good, and relatively healthy. :-) Do you want company at the hospital? I have never driven in that part of town, but I would be willing to try!

Linda,

Holding you and yor family up in prayer. No mom and dad should have to see their little one go through this.

If there is anything we can do: make a meal, wash your dishes, take out the garbage, toilets (Cameron's specialty), play with Alyssa, come to the hospital and bring snacks... Let us know.

We love you guys and are passing on your story to those that pray.

I wanted to let you know that I will be praying FERVENTLY for Tristan's complete and total healing.

I am a homeschooling Mom of 5...I CANNOT imagine the heatbreaks and nightmares you are having right now...

Please know that God hates leukemia just as much as you do and is working in your behalf....
