Induction Day...

Posted in Pregnancy
Went to the dr today. I have an eviction date for this little one! Finally.

I was 4 cm, 50% effaced and she stripped my membranes. But if he does not make an arrival, She scheduled me for an induction Thursday Morning. So either way, by Thursday Wyatt will be joining our family!

Yay!

So say a prayer for me and the baby please! A nice smooth and not so bad labor (I can dream right???) hee hee. And problem free. Please pray that baby is awesome and I do good too.

Starting to remember the fun of labor

Going to go enjoy the last nights of sleep! Tomorrow mom and dad will take the kids to church with them and then have a sleepover. So I do not have to get them up early. I have to be at the hospital at quarter till 6 in the morning on Thursday. Fun Fun. YAWN!

Due Date is here...

Posted in Pregnancy
Well... due date is here. Technically in 2 more hours but no way could I possibly birth this baby before that.

And I am still pregnant. What a little stinker I have in here. Sigh.

Any prayers for me to have this baby soon would be cool. Next week is not going to be fun if I have to get mom to watch the kids every day for non stress tests, drs appointments etc. I already have 3 days of doctors appointments set up. That is not what I am in the mood to do.

Doctors today

Posted in Pregnancy
Went to the drs today. Got checked. I am 3 cms and 50% effaced. I really want something to happen tonight but I am not feeling labor-y. It would be PERFECT timing if it came tonight/tomorrow morning. So someone is welcomed to pray for me to start labor if they want :)

Going to curl up with a book and relax incase I do not get much of that soon. Justin wants me to get on the stair stepper or something. HA! Not what I want to do.

I got my voting in today and Tristan has clinic on Friday. So this would be a great stretch to have the baby.

Blanking on what else I was going to post.

Pregnancy Updates.

Posted in Pregnancy

So I will be 29 weeks tomorrow.

And besides a little spotting and some braxton hicks situations... things are going great! I am down to every two week appointments already!

We are getting the babies room ready. Justin wants to do it this weekend. Well work on it some more. I doubt we will set the crib up until later but... you never know.

We got this shelf given to us by some really sweet friends of my parents!

And the other day, the other pastors at my parents church gave us a rug. It was their sons and daughter in laws. So now our hardwood in there has a nice NEW and soft area rug in it. I need to snap a picture because I have not gotten one of that yet.

And things are just starting to shape up really nicely!

I had my ultrasound today! Thank you for all your prayers. It was a very good ultrasound. The baby was right on target with weight (13 ounces) and measurements. The heart rate was 160, nice and good.

And it is a BOY!

Here is a picture of me at 19 weeks pregnant.

My ultra sound is Thursday Morning at 10:30. PLEASE pray for open legs and a clear shot! I was blessed with tons of hand me down clothes for my kids. So in return we blessed back by handing them to others that needed. I have no clothes for this baby so I need to find out! I have friends willing to hand me down and yard sales baby!!! but I need a willing show from this little on on Thursday Morning. So prayers would be appreciated!

Prayer Request for this exciting news.

Posted in Pregnancy
I have been holding out announcing our news on blog world and to extended family and friends until I got a doctors confirmation. Something about not trusting yourself yk. But then I decided I would rather have the prayers of my friends to back us up. Also... should something happen, I would like friends to support me. But I am trusting in God with our lives in his hand.

So without further ado...

Our family is growing bigger! And we are THRILLED! I have no clue exact dates when I am due but we figure November this year.

Now to elaborate a little. I have a doctors appointment on March 31st. I will do blood work before hand to get it done. Were we trying? YES! For 13 months! Not long compared to many of my dearest friends who have struggled with that. But with each person ttc, it seems like forever to you.

I am sure you all know how we felt after we found out Tristan had Leukemia. We were PRAISING GOD that we had not conceived when we thought we wanted it. Because the timing would have been awful. With being in the hospital and his chemo. God truly does know best!

Now the second amazing thing in the story is they timing of this pregnancy. Tristan is in intense treatment. You would think that would be when we would not want it but not true! With his intense treatment in clinic means we are NOT administering chemo pills at home. So I have not touched chemo pills since mid February. And I am not going to have to handle them until May.

We have to give them to him all at the exact same time each day. Now since the break, is the time I can change the hour I give it to him if I choose. Well now I can make it later so Justin can give them to him! So I might not ever have to touch them again. How good is God?

We are thrilled. I have had two times of seeing a tiny bit of blood when I went the bathroom. But VERY small and only once yesterday and once today. If I was not already pregnant I would think implantation. No where NEAR what I bled with Tristan's pregnancy. I was reading online and it looks like 30% of pregnancies experience some spotting in the first few weeks. So we shall see. I am trusting God.

But I started thinking about waiting... and thought, you know. I want my friends to pray for this baby. Because I really want this child. I have been praying hard for it and I want all the prayer coverage I can get for a healthy pregnancy. So I am officially announcing our little addition coming this year!

And why did I take two tests? I was asked that already. The answer is because I took the test and it came up RIGHT away. (Never had that happen before! Trust me, I had to hold the test in the light and show mom where the line was for Alyssa's Pregnancy Test! lol) Mom said... try it again in 10 mins. Maybe something it was not right. So I did. Boom. Immediately double lines and dark! I was thrilled!
