I want to blog this down before I forget it...

A few days ago, ds used about half a roll of toilet paper on his little 6 yo bum, and lo and behold!  The toilet got plugged up!  I tried using the plunger, but that only made it worse.  For a day and a half, the hall bathroom was off limits.  When my MIL came over to watch the kids on Wednesday, she said, "Oh, haven't you heard?  The latest thing to take care of stopped up toilets is dish detergent."  Well, I pretty much take her various home remedies in stride, but when I came home later that afternoon, that toilet was working perfectly!  I asked a plumber friend of ours', and he said, "Oh yeah, it dissolves the toilet paper and helps everything slide right through the pipes."    Wow!
