We Finally Have Snow!
Well in my last entry, I was lamenting the forecast of snow and the absence of it.

Well the snow is here and fat & fluffy snowflakes consistently coming down.   My kids waited until after their favorite show (Green Acres) was over before they bundled up and headed outdoors.

Heather had picked up a few ideas from one of her "Calvin & Hobbes" comic books.  She built some snowmen (she calls them "snowgoons") in front of our old car that would give the impression that they were actually pedestrians who were hit by the car.    Kylin actually attempted to build his own snowmen in the backyard.  He later told me that they were penquins.

The last time we had such a decent snow was about 3 years ago.   It was so decent that Kevin wound up staying home from work.  Of course, with snow like this, we tend to wonder if it'll be like the snow of '69.  I was about two months old, and it was in February, and it snowed so much, we had snow up to the windows of the Chevy (my mom took pictures).  My dad worked at my granddad's dairy and wound up taking a sleeping bag with him and staying there for the duration of the snow.    Hopefully, it won't snow that much.

So anyway, Happy Snow Day!
