Life As I See It

Prom Night!

Last night was the night for our local homeschoolers' Prom-Shadow of the Day.

My daughter went with a friend from church and fellow homeschooler.  Her best friend went with his best friend.  They had the ultimate night, complete with limo ride.

They looked wonderful!  Here are a few pictures.  Sydni's date was picked up last, so I didn't get any pictures of him.   They all got pictures made at the dance, though.

This is Sam (my dd).

And best friend, Sydni.

The two of them posing together:

This is Blake and Sam.

And one more....

I think they all had a pretty great time, even though they do not exactly run in the same circle of friends.  They all had a variety of friends present and enjoyed the night without much dancing, I heard.

Sydni has short, thin hair. We went to Sally's and picked out a hairpiece/clip and saw the blue extensions at the checkout. I clipped it in with the hairpiece, trimmed it and used the trimming on her bangs. She looked really pretty-the pictures really do not do either of them justice.

Sam had a red extension that we looped and pinned in the back of her updo, but we didn't get a picture.... :o/

Both the girls looked so beautiful, Lisa. Samantha couldn't be any more beautiful than what she is. Love the hair on both....funky, but in a good way. lol Sam's date looked handsome, but as soon as I saw him, I thought this boy looks like Frodo. lol

The girls look beautiful! I love the tiara - and you are right it does look like Eliana's. Rebecca bought it for herself for a Daddy Daughter Dance.

Will write more to you later!

Love,
Leslie

Your crew looked awesome for the prom. All of the children were so good and just enjoyed themselves so much. It was really nice to finally see some posts of the prom. It was a joy to be a part of this. We all thank you for letting your children venture to something out of the “Normal Homeschool Realm”. Its just what our teens needed. Our next MSHE Prom is at the same place, Club Windward April 17, 2009. Send me your e-mail and I will forward you a flyer. Tell all of your friends . This year you can buy your tickets online at Paypal. Get your tickets early! Here is the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MSHEHighSchool/

Thank You,
